Vervan condominium

Property was accurately listed. Communication with owners very good.Perfect location for exploring the island.Unfortunately washing machine had fault when we were there but owner let us know of this before the stay. Rooms were immaculate. Plenty of clean towels to use. Even beach towels provided. Spices and sugar foil, freezer bags etc there at property. Everything thought of by the owners. Would highly recommend Will definitely look to stay here again

Lovely condo

Large clean condo with all basic equipment. Host Louise was very responsive and was kind enough to allow us to stay later to accommodate a later flight. Booked for next year again!!

Great place, great location

The property was clea and well equipped. I liked the high quality Samsung appliances, especially the 'American style' fridge with it's chilled water/ice dispenser. The property is literally a 2 min walk to the beach

Barbados dreamy Vacation!

Great weather quiet beach great salty ocean waves! It was relaxing to be independent of schedule and being on time, shopping for food close for a pleasant walk, people very friendly and courteous the facility very clean nad comfortable. We highly recommend it to those that seek independent relaxed holiday style. Best vacation ever We will definitely be back!!! Week was too short! John and Mariola

Great place to stay and great location!

The property is about a 15-20 min walk in between 2 great places, Oistins to the right and The Gap to the left which we did multiple times because we enjoy walking where we can. The mini buses are fantastic to take to both of these places plus we took one to Bridgetown and it only costs 3.50 per person per ride. Louise and Gregory are fantastic hosts, the condo is very nicely arranged and very clean, with everything you need for your stay minus your food. It was the perfect place for us and we were always comfortable and felt safe the whole time. Do a bit of research before you go, on cost of food and transportation if you havent been there before. Eating out at restaurants nightly cost anywhere between 75-200 CAD for two people with one or 2 drinks, depending where you go. The food is amazing wherever you go though, the spices and flavours are wonderful. I HIGHLY recommend CRAVE restaurant in the St. Lawrence Gap and make sure you make a reservation between 7-8pm as they have live entertainment every night except Fridays, which is fine because you HAVE to go to Oistins on Friday night for the big party that only happens on Fridays. Keep an eye out for happy hours everywhere as that is where you get the best value for drinks! Beaches are easily accessible everywhere and the local people were absolutely wonderful, helpful with any questions and so easily approachable. We made some wonderful friends while there, the weather is amazing and it was overall a great experience.

Beautiful Barbados

The property description was a bit deceiving as it looks like your entrance is in front of the pool and it is not. I am not even sure how to get to the pool from the unit. Everything was very clean and as described but the sheets were scratchy and the sofa bed was not comfortable in the least as a bed or as a couch. I had asked for tips as it was our first trip to Barbados and the owner did not offer much at all. We arrived with no cash and the taxis only take cash. Then we had no water or means to get water as the closest store only took cash. Also there was a beeping noise all night the one night that eventually stopped that was coming from somewhere in the unit that we never identified. Also it would have been nice to have shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent. Etc.we ended up moving our stay to a hotel close by just so we could have help navigating the area. I guess we should have asked more specific questions.

Family get-a-way

Beautiful Barbados in a great condo location…everything was as expected. Beach a few steps away. Oistins fish fry within walking distance. Live music. Wonderful people…can not wait to return!

Top apartment in a very good area near beach

Excellent modern well equipped apartment,on ground floor 150 mtr to small beach and next to very expensive hotels on beachfront. Many longer stay residents with well maintained grounds and pool area. Top value.

We are so happy we booked this place!

This apartment was perfect for our friends’ trip. It’s a 2 minute walk from the beach, a 5 minute walk to a couple cute bars, and about a 20 min walk to the grocery store and Oistins fish market. Our favorite features were the washer (dryer didn’t work but there’s a drying rack available), the AC units and TVs in the rooms for the much needed rest days, and the shower. The shower was lovely. The place was clean and comfortable, and we would absolutely rent this space again if we decided to return to Barbados one day.

Fabulous Rental Apartment

We're so happy we stumbled across this gem, it exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be returning and recommending to our family & friends who reside in London and Barbados! We were a family of 5 who went with 2 kids and there were two bedrooms and a pull out bed. All rooms had smart TVs, even though we was out most of the time. The kids enjoyed watching it when we was in. I would definitely give this property 4.5 stars!! For a 5 star I think the property would benefit with fitting another aircon unit in the living area as it was extremely hot & stuffy. The fans were not enough, our kids were on the pull out bed and they were hot. Also, having less high sleeping pillows. The property was very spacious with lovely, modern decor and it had an outside balcony where we sat most mornings and evenings. We were relieved to discover tbe property had everything there to make our stay more comfortable and easier. Such as beach towels, lots of clean bath towels/flannels, washing appliances and products to wash our clothes and the towels which was a great help. There was a washing line at the back or clothes rack. We was also thankful for seasonings and other bits we needed for the food. Saved us having to go shops and buy all these things that we wouldn't be taking back home with us, plus the food shopping in Barbados is extremely expensive as it is. Then having to worrying about getting tbe basics of sugar, salt or washing up liquid etc. So all these basic necessities which were there was excellent. Around the back there was a swimming pool and jacuzzi which the kids loved and didn't want to get out of. The water was very cold though but because it was hot you could bare it. I did hope the jacuzzi would of been warmer as it would of been nice to sit in of an evening but it was just as cold as the main pool. There was sun loungers and a seating area which was good and we meet some of the neighbours/guests who were all lovely. The location of the property was great, maxwell beach was right across the road which is a beautiful beach and up the road you have the beach infront of sandals which is also nice. There is a sports bar cafe en route to this beach to and the property isn't far from Oistins and supermarket. We walked a couple of times whilst sorting a hire car. Its about 15 minutes walk but with kids will take longer so we got the ZR and picks you up anywhere on the road side. Which is super cheap of just 1dollar and such an experience.

More than we expected

Overall we were very impressed with the venue and it worked really well for us. If I had to make a suggestion to improve it further would be to have AC in the lounge and light in the kitchen.

Felt like home away from home but nicer :)

I truly loved this space. So clean and organized. We had we needed and more. Louise made sure that the linens and other major household needs were available. I have never experienced anything like that before. Utensils, cleaning items, you name it. We also oved the location. Maxwell is close to most of the well known places to visit or eat. I only have one tiny suggestion, adding a full length mirror. I am a content creator, and often need to film in the mirror so not being able to do that was the only disadvantage.
