About this property

A 2 Pas du Château in the wake of Van Gogh

"A 2 Pas du Château" is an apartment with the charm of the old. It is on the first floor of a large house that used to be an inn. It consists :

- a large kitchen that includes all the electrical appliances to prepare meals, as well as a rest area for the coffee break with flat screen TV and Wi-fi.

- a large bedroom with a 140cm bed and a large wardrobe

- a terrace with shower room and separate WC. In this terrace are installed washing machine and dryer.

The linen is fully furnished: sheets, towels, tea towels etc. Charges are included, except the tourist tax. A participation of 5 € is required for each use of the dryer and 40 € for the household.

This cottage called "A two steps from the Castle" is located in the tourist street that Vincent Van Gogh has often used to visit Dr. Gachet, his friend. This quiet and sunny street is a stretch of the green avenue Paris-London. The owners reserve a warm welcome to cyclists.

The castle is 200m from the cottage, the city center at 400m and the church and the cemetery where the Van Gogh brothers lie at 900m.

From the cottage you have access to the paths of cyclists and pedestrians Vexin. The walks along the Oise bring calm and serenity.

If you wish a cultural stay, flyers are at your disposal for the visit of the Ile-de-France sites (Royaumont Abbey, Ecouen castle etc.) Paris is 35kms, easily accessible by train !!

Olympics visit

This was a lovely quiet place in a great village with good local transport links into Paris. The property had plenty of space and was well equipped. It had a lovely garden for out door eating and relaxing.
