Welcome to Cabins in the Clouds!

This beautiful land features five private cabins, this listing is for cabin 3 (The Loose Moose Cabin). On the property, you will find a fire pit, privacy, a covered gazebo with seating, a private dock, and a small vernal pond with varying water levels dependent on the season. You will find adventure, local attractions, and a peaceful environment all right outside of your cabin porch! Once inside The Loose Moose, you will find comfort, fun, and relaxation for everyone! Through the front doors, you will find a cozy great room featuring a smart TV and fireplace, perfect for movie nights with your entire group. Kick back and unwind on the sofa or outdoor seating while flipping through the pages of a new read. In the mornings, sip your first cup of joe at the lovely dining area, or relax on the cabin's large front porch while basking in nature views. In the fully equipped kitchen prepare your group's favorite recipes with all the necessary appliances. All the comforts of home are offered here, including complimentary wireless Internet access, a DVD player, and a private washer/dryer. Right outside of your front door, you will find a large porch facing the peaceful wooded views. This is also the only cottage at Cloudland Cottages with a private hot tub & grill!

As a hosting family, we strongly believe in making memories wherever you are. That is why we have provided local suggestions so you can enjoy the experience of fully immersing yourself in the local culture. We appreciated the extra touches like toiletries and coffee. But the blinds were broken and filthy, a ceiling fan didn’t work and the hot tub (which was the main reason I booked this property) was disgusting with hair and trash clogging the water filter in the bottom. I mentioned the issues which they offered to fix for the next guest but they did nothing to compensate me. I cannot recommend.

Great place!

This cabin was absolutely great. There was plenty of space, the cabin was clean and as described in the listing. Plus it was nicely situated in a quiet area. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely come back if we are in the area again.

Relaxing

The process was super easy, the hot tub was amazing. It was clean and nice. I only wish the couches were a tad more comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

Little moose

Property did not have a lake as advertised. Which is the only reason we even rented this cabin out of the hundreds in the area. The photos and description of the lake needs to be changed to address this fact because management just wants to make excuses instead of making things right.

Good Place to Stay

The check-in process was very simple and the house met our expectations. The only thing would be to clean the back deck. Didn't really feel comfortable sitting out there as it was pretty dirty, and the chairs looked as though they hadn't been cleaned in some time. Everything else was great though.

Relaxing

Cons: Outside garbage cans were small and the lids were broke off so was easy for animals to get into them There was no pizza cutter which isn’t huge but feel like a lot of people eat frozen pizza on vacation so would be nice to have One of the fans in a bedroom didn’t work and the fan in the living room had a ton of dust on it There were only 3 rolls of toilet paper and 3 garbage bags for our 4 day stay so we had to buy more The couches in the living room are horrible. The pull out couch was broken and the cushions were like a half inch thick they were so old. It was the main room to hangout in so would’ve been nice to be a bit comfier. Overall other than the couches all of my cons are little and easily fixable. I feel like the owners may not live in the area so harder to know about the little things that could be fixed to make the stay a bit nicer. Pros: Awesome communication from the property owner The hot tub was a littler slippery but worked great and was awesome to have The scenery was so beautiful and relaxing The swing in the gazebo was great to relax on They had a coffee pot and Keurig which was great to have They had some basic shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which was nice because some people forgot some things The beds weren’t like amazing but they were your basic beds and worked well It’s not far from Chattanooga which is where a lot of stuff is but it does take awhile to get there because of the hills/curves and needing to drive 20-40 mph. It was a great experience though and if we came back to the area I’d definitely stay again as long as the couches got replaced.

LOVED IT

The area was very quiet, Well maintained, and very peaceful. The cabin was awesome loved the space. Hottub was just what the doctor ordered. Will be back.
