Beautiful 1 Bedroom 1 Bath, condominium

Conveniently located on the ground floor with direct access to the main pool this one bedroom one bathroom condominium has one of the best views in Isla Mujeres that also has a high quality furniture, complementary High Speed Internet Access,2 Flat Screen Cable TVs,2 ceiling fans and the kitchen has everything guest will need with a regular size refrigerator, dish washer and build in microwave oven.
It offer as well all in one washer and dryer,2 built in Air Conditioning that will provide all the confort for our guest.
The building provides open or cover complementary parking and with control access only for owners and guest 24 h.
This complex has one of the longest infinity pool almost 25mt ( 75ft ) that guest enjoy right in front of their ground floor terrace with overlooking spectaculars ocean views and incredible sunsets ,at night Cancun skyline provide a unique experience as well .
The carpentry is natural cedar wood along with granite counter tops in kitchen and bathroom with a great rain shower head.
A beautiful small beach is only few steps away that guest will be able to enjoy a great beach time or snorkel in one of the best places in the Caribbean because this beach is also part of Garrafon Snorkeling Park witch is one of the best places to snorkel in the area, full of marine life and that provide to visitors a life time experience that can be enjoy any time of the year.
This condominium is part of Sotavento Isla a small residential building that only has 17 condominiums that is located in the south side point of the island.
This side of the island is perfect for our guest that are looking for a very peacefull area because the area is surrounding by private residential properties.
Down town Isla Mujeres is only 15 min away by taxi or golf cart where guest can find a great variety of restaurants that serve all kinds of food as well nice options for night life places.
Down Town also is few steps away from North Beach that is consider one of the nicest beach in the world that also has great restaurants and bars right in front of it.
Isla Mujeres provides all the water activities that anyone could imagine to have from scuba diving, deep sea fishing ,kayaks ,paddle board and many more.

Sotavento Condo

We were very pleased with the condo, property and location. Despite the pool not being available due to repairs the stay was still worth it. Gerardo the property owner was up front about the pool not being available and provided us with a discount if we decided to keep our reservation and we did. Due to his upfront and honest communication we kept our reservation and really enjoyed our stay. The property felt very secure. The unit and the property were well maintained and very clean. We definitely recommend others to stay here too.

Loved the property. Loved the pool. Calming week with stable internet services and clean property. Do not forget Pesos before you go down or stop at the one of many exchanges/ATM's. Some local places only take Pesos.

AMAZING POOL WITH AMAZING VIEW

We LOVED our stay at Sotovento! We walked right out of the condo into the pool with the most spectacular view of the ocean! We loved being on the quieter side of the Island! There were several great restaurants nearby, and a fruit cart with the best mango smoothies was right down the street! Hector was so great with all our needs; always answered immediately and was there to help us so quickly! We stayed with myself, husband and our 14 year old son and we all loved it! We will be back!! Our wishes for the condo would be to have a bbq on the patio. Otherwise a 12/10 place to stay on the beautiful Isla Mujeres!!

Great stay

Awesome quiet place on the south end. We look forward to a return visit! Hector was waiting on our arrival to show us the rental, the view was amazing and the apartment is stocked with anything you need. 5 stars.

Amazing!

Amazing place to stay and enjoy the quiet beauty of the island. All the amenities you could ever need were supplied. It was also nice that it was in walking distance to the market and restaurants. Hector was accomodating and attentive manager. We would come back again! Thanks again!

One of the best experiences in Isla Mujeres

We have a wonderful and very pleasant experience staying at Sotavento Isla. The property is exactly as described. The property manager, Hector, was more than helpful, greeted us upon arrival, and addressed our requests promptly and graciously. We definitely recommend this place and we are planning to come back. Beautiful Stay

Do not hesitate to book! Locations, peaceful, beautiful mornings, beautiful views, very quiet evenings. Beautiful, immaculate property. Isla Oasis

Beautiful condo with great views. The patio doors open fully so when you are sitting inside you feel like your outside. The condo was clean and communication with Hector, the property manager was seamless. He was very helpful and prompt in his response. The king size bed was comfortable for sleeping. Ranchos the nearby restaurant has great shrimp tacos and mojitos.

Stay here it’s awesome!

If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle then this is the place for you. Spectacular sunset views, but really any time of day it is amazing! The condo is clean, well supplied and the lap pool is just steps away from the back door of the condo. The Property Manager Hector is very polite and responsive. Any issues were resolved within 24 hours. It’s a one minute walk to The Joint with excellent live music and great wings. One minute to Rancho Capricho with great tacos and a mango stand with Samuel who is lovely. Stay here, you won’t regret it!

What a view!!!

We have stayed at sotavento 2 previous times but this was our first time in this unit. The view is amazing. Easy access to the pool which is steps from your patio. Bed was very comfy. Extra pillows and blankets if needed. Bathroom was decent but light switch was falling off so that needs to be attended to, but minor. They only had 2 towels and I wash cloth in bathroom when we arrived. On our last day while packing up.we discovered a drawer in the bedroom dresser that had more towels and wash and hand towels as well. Widmsh we new that earlier but no big deal we got by Kitchen is fully equipped and had plenty of cups glasses etc more mixing bowls would have been handy but again no big deal. The couch is massive and very comfortable to lay and stare at the magnificent view. TV was mostly Spanish channels nut you can stream from netflucmx prime YouTube etc so that's no big deal either. Located on the south side of the island where it is more quiet and peaceful. We would definitely rent this unit again Thanks Hector for everything

Isla at its best!

This was our first visit to Isla and we literally couldn’t have picked a better place! The view, the sunrises, the pool. You name it and it was perfect. The host communicated the whole time and always made sure we had everything we needed. Looking forward to our next trip back already.

Wonderful stay, gorgeous views!

We had an excellent trip at Sotavento Isla. The view is unbeatable. The property had everything we needed and most of the time we had the pool to ourselves! Best way to get around the island is by golf cart and we had a blast. Thank you Jerry and Hector for everything. We can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic Condo

Such a great property with sweeping views. Hector the property manager was very accommodating he even had our return covid test lined up for us. I've been to Isla 28 times and this unit had the best mattress of all! We will diffently be back.

Absolutely loved our stay at Sotavento Isla. Property is as beautiful as it is shown in the pictures

Loved our time here so much we were able to extend our stay for 3 more nights! The views are incredible to say the least. The condo is very spacious and well kept Jerry and Hector took care of everything we needed. Even had the Covid test Tech come to the condo. We also loved staying on the south end of the island. Sunsets are stunning from the patio and infinity pool. Heaven!!!! We will definitely stay at this property again.

Jewel of a place!

The view from the condo is truly breathtaking. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, and very spacious for two people. The infinity pool was amazing, and you could swim sidestroke in it while watching the many colors of the sea and Cancun lit up in the distance. We thoroughly enjoyed eating meals out on the terrace in the warm breezes. We had great snorkeling and good food at the beach club across the street, the Garrafón de Castilla, which has a very friendly staff. Check in was a breeze: Hector met us at the door and showed us all the features of the apartment. His brother Gerardo went above and beyond in his communication with us. We can highly recommend this condo! We hope one day to return.

Great condo and great host!

We were extremely happy with our stay! Our host, Gerarardo was very attentive, and answered quickly when we had questions while we were there. He arranged to have a golf cart waiting on use when we arrived, and there were cold drinks in the fridge, along with a bottle of tequila! Hector and Arturo were on-site and extremely helpful. If we needed anything, they took care of it immediately, and they even anticipated our needs. The condo was lovely, and perfect for two people. The infinity pool was steps away from our patio! It was wonderful for early morning swims and relaxing after a busy, hot day. There's a beach and snorkeling just across the alley behind the condo. It's very inexpensive, they have food, and you can rent snorkeling gear. I highly recommend this. The water is clear and calm, and shallow, and the fish are beautiful. There's lots to see on the sea floor! The food on the island is amazing. Check out Di Nocchio's, and Muele 7. Plenty of seafood, if that's to your liking. I had lobster several times, and they were quite large. The drawbacks were few. It was very noisy during the day due to all the construction nearby, and the condo is located at the very southern end of the island, which makes for a long trip to town and restaurants. Grocery stores are few, but we finally found one, Aki, and they had what everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here, and would definitely return!

Perfect trip

The trip we planned with Gerado and the condo. was easy to plan and exactly as the expected. The pictures of the condo. and the location are exactly as it is once you get there. The location is great-very quiet. I loved having the golf cart at the condo. so we didn't have to deal with any pick up and returns. Thanks for a great stay!

Great lodging for couple

We already were familiar with the island having been there twice before and always wanted to stay at this property in the past but it had already been booked. I’m thrilled we were finally able to stay here This is a wonderful location from which to explore and enjoy this beautiful island. There’s a beautiful pool and garden behind the unit right off the patio which we enjoyed tremendously every day. Everything was neat and clean and exactly as we expected.

Amazing Condo on Isla Mujeres

The condo is exactly as pictured! Everything was clean and functioning. The bed was super comfy and nice water pressure in the shower. The kitchen was perfect for our needs. The pool is literally steps from the patio and there are nice loungers right in front. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained as well as being very secure. Aside from this perfect condo, Jerry and his team really made our trip the best. Jerry was quick to respond to any questions and arranged our airport/ferry transportation with Arturo who was waiting right outside the airport with a sign and was right there to pick us up at the ferry on the return trip. Hector was waiting for us at the condo to show us around and give us the keys to the golf cart we arranged trough Jerry. This really made our last minute trip truly relaxing! No stress at all! The island itself is wonderful and the high speed wifi at the condo helped us plan our daily adventures. We explored every inch of this island and had great food and met some wonderful locals. We highly recommend this condo on the "quite" side of the island. Jerry and his team will take great care of you! You will not be disappointed staying here!
