Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature from this 3 bedroom home just 100 metres from the edge of the Harvey Estuary. Nestled amongst the trees, this is serenity at its best. With 3 bedrooms sleeping 8, a pleasant deck on which to watch the local birdlife, and air-conditioning and a wood fire in the lounge for your comfort, this is a delightfully unassuming property offering a very natural retreat. Lovely local walks, a nearby golf course and eateries a short walk away add to the appeal.

- nature lovers’ environment near estuary, nestled amongst the trees
- 3 bedrooms: 2 Queens, 1 w/ triple bunk (double on bottom, single on top) and a single, family bathroom
- open plan living w/ high ceiling, wood fire and A/C, TV, foosball table, games
- deck with seating and views to estuary, BBQ, parking for cars and a boat
- foreshore walks, room for a boat, local cafe and restaurants, 15 mins to Mandurah

This comfortable holiday home is nestled in the trees and natural bush of Dawesville, with a view from a large deck over the bush and to the Harvey Estuary, perfect for the nature-lover and bird-watcher. There is a walkway at the side of the property that takes you about 100 metres to the estuary. The property is an unfenced, sloping, natural bush block and the house has an open staircase, so is not suitable for those with limited mobility or young children.

The open plan living and kitchen area is upstairs to take advantage of the views. Generous in size, the living room has high ceilings and is carpeted. The kitchen is equipped with a freestanding stove, a microwave, coffee pod machine and milk frother, toaster and a fridge-freezer. The dining suite seats 6 and there are 2 armchairs and a sofa in the lounge area, which opens to the deck. Enjoy sitting out here and soaking up the sights and sounds of the natural environment spread out before you, and the views of the water through the trees. The air-conditioner and wood stove upstairs provide year-round comfort while downstairs stays naturally cool in summer.

There are two nicely appointed bedrooms upstairs with a Queen bed in each. Downstairs there is an additional bedroom with a triple bunk bed: a double bed at the bottom and a single bed at the top, as well as a daybed. All linen is provided. There is also a games room equipped with a foosball table as well as other games and books and a TV, and the family bathroom is downstairs, with access outside to the barbeque area and more views.

With a washing machine and plenty of parking also included, this property offers a lovely space to completely unwind from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately pets are not allowed at this property.

This is a very special location. Enjoy the natural bush surroundings, listen to the birds and gaze over the water as you relax and soak up the tranquillity. Warrungup Spring Reserve is at the end of the street, and Yoka Maya Heritage Jetty - a place with aboriginal significance - is a lovely walk away (about 1 kilometre south). There is a magnificent osprey nest at the reserve. Natural wildlife is abundant in the area. Try your hand at crabbing in the Peel Estuary, watch the prolific pelicans and other birdlife and take note of the variety of fauna. There are many coastal walks, along both the coast and the foreshore of the Peel Estuary. Don’t miss the wonderful Giant of Mandurah on Estuary Place, a wonderful large coastal sculpture.

Novara boat ramp to the north and Park Ridge Foreshore boat ramp to the south offer access to the water. Bring your boat and take your fishing rods!

Local amenities are just a two minute drive away: a small, local supermarket, delicious Thai restaurant, fish and chips, chemist and bottle shop. There is a cafe a short walk south along Estuary Road, and a Tavern and restaurant just on the other side of the Cut. Mandurah’s foreshore is a 15 minute drive away, offering a wide variery of eateries and shops as well as several attractions that might appeal to children, such as a playground, a pirate ship experience, the hop-on-hop-off tourist train, King Carnival, Amaze Miniature Park and the aquatic centre.

Further attractions include the stunning beaches, wineries, breweries, a golf course and spas. However, if you sit on the deck of this special property and listen and watch the natural world around you, you’ll find it by far the most relaxing option! Enjoy!
