About this property

Coronet Spa Retreat - pet friendly

About the home

“Coronet Spa Retreat” is a delightful single-storey home in Coronet Bay just a short walk from the beach and Coronet Bay general store, or a short drive from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Grantville & San Remo. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Entry to the home is via a front verandah to a central hallway, which provides access to the two bedrooms (each with a freestanding robe), the Living Room (with 55' smart tv) and the Kitchen/Dining Room. The rear living space provides access to the bathroom (with shower over bath & a toilet), the 2nd bathroom/laundry (with shower, trough & washing machine) and the rear covered deck.

Outdoor Areas

The rear fully covered deck provides a fantastic sheltered space with table & seating for 6 people overlooking the enclosed rear yard which is perfect for children and pets (pets to remain outside please). The centre-piece of this lovely home is the amazing 6-seater electric heated spa/hot tub that is aside the rear deck and also fully covered. The double garage has a fold-up table tennis table and 4 burner gas BBQ, and along with the long driveway, provides space to park up to 4 vehicles cars and/or a boat). There is also an outdoor firepit with seating for 6 people (firewood not supplied).

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Lavazza Jolie pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There is a wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioner in the Living Room plus some additional stand-alone heaters and some pedastal fans which can be used where required.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 3 beds plus 2 sofa beds, accommodating up to 7 guests:

Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Tri-bunk

The Living Room has 2 x Double sofa beds, each of which are suitable for one adult or child.
Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.

Anniversary Trip
We enjoyed our stay for our wedding anniversary and loved exploring Philip Island and surrounds. The house was clean and tidy and the check in/out process was easy. The hot tub never got warm however (not sure if we were missing some instructions or something) and the wifi stopped working on day 1 so our plan to watch movies in the evenings was thwarted :(

Coronet bay , time away
Lovely stay but would like it if the hot tub was heated from the morning on day of arrival ( Friday ) as it only got hot by Saturday morning . Also a our door light is needed as the solar lights are not adequate and a mop would be great for dealing with wet feet going inside to use the loo
