Nice spot, could be cleaner
Lovely location. Fun for kids with animals close by. Not overly clean. Mould on curtains and filthy windows.

Great location
This property is in a great location and is spacious enough for a large family gathering. It was easy to keep warm in the icy weather with the two heat pumps and lovely fire. The kids loved the pigs, free range chickens and exploring the helicopter. The bathroom was large and having two toilets was a must for our large group. The only disappointment was the cleanliness of the house when we arrived. It took us a while to make space in the fridge for our food and thoroughly clean the kitchen and bathroom. A lot of the bedding had seen better days and so we would recommend bringing your own if you were at all particular. The beds themselves were comfortable. All in all we had a great time and it met the needs of our large group.

Incredible Location and Outlook
Property is situated in an incredible location being only a 5 min drive to the St Arnaud township. Plenty of space and entertainment for the kids with farm animals to the helicopters to play in out the back. We didn’t end up using the sleep-out (5th bedroom) as this would be best suited to summer however there was plenty of room in the living room of the house to fit everyone in.

Relaxed stay
Large house on a quiet rural plot. Friendly animals around the place and nice places to walk around the property. Nice and warm with two heat pumps and a fire. Only downside was the bed in the main bedroom has a bit of roll together and the furniture in the kitchen dining is quiet tired.

Why they chose this property

We are new to this agency but have been providing all sorts of accommodation here for many years. Below some comments from NZMCA members;

Basically parking in a paddock but what a paddock!! Amazing views down to Lake Rotoiti and mountain ranges beyond - just stunning! Great text communication with owner and box by gate if you wish to make donation towards animal care. Safe and private. We even left our caravan here overnight with no probs while we tramped. Lovely young family currently helping owner with animal care etc.

Donna
Great stay, thanks very much. Amazing night sky. Helpful directions text to us after phoning Richard. No cost but donation invited to a good cause, was happy to contribute.

Stan
Wow! We are blown away that we get to stay here… There is plenty of room, we found a flat spot, put out the clothes line and am now soaking up the amazing views and beautiful bird song…. Can’t thank you enough Richard and Charlotte
