Long Beach Island is an 18 mile family-oriented barrier island off exit 63 on the New Jersey Garden State parkway.
As you head east on Route 72 east and drive over over a beautiful causeway bridge with breathtaking views and the smell of salt water of Barnegat Bay your vacation begins.
At the end of the road you make a right hand turn onto to Long Beach Blvd. On your right will be the bay, on the left will be the ocean. As you drive down the Boulevard in 2 1/2 miles you will see many restaurants, surf and specialty shops.
Upon arrival at Mea Lane, also known as 74th Street make a right hand turn. You will immediately notice the bay directly at the end of the street. Our home is 25 yards and second from the bay on the right.
You will see people out boating, paddle boarding, fishing, and paddle boarding. There is plenty of room to access a kayak, raft, swim, fish, or go crabbing. To go to the beach it is a casual short walk or ride by bicycle.
Once you enter the house you walk up a flight of stairs to the main living area. On this level you have two bedrooms, a bath with a tub, a dinette area, a modern kitchen and a family room with a 60 inch TV.
Off the family room you walk out onto one of two decks overlooking the bay.
On the second floor is the master bedroom with a king size bed and view of the bay from your pillow top. Additionally, there is a sitting area. Off of the master bedroom is a bathroom with a shower. Also is a 4th bedroom bedroom off hallway with a doorway to the upper deck with magnificent views of the bay.
Outside, there is plenty of room for people to play yard games, barbecue, or just lounge and relax while looking at the bay.
Please no smoking in the house or on the decks.
Also, no pets.
