Disappointed stay
We were notified 1.5 hours before arrival that we wouldn’t be able to check-in on time and that we couldn’t arrive until 1.5 hours after initial arrival. Additional notice would have been helpful. Upon arrival the house was in good condition. When we went to use the hot tub the first night the water appeared very murky but we were hopeful it would clear up over night. The next day it was even worse and the water had started to smell foul. We reached out to the Meredith team to see if we could get some chemicals to clean the hot tub out and were told it would be addressed in the morning during their working hours. We never heard anything the next day even though we reached out again mid-day. We never got any response until 2 hours after we checked out (almost 1.5 days after we first notified them of the issue). My daughter and I both ended up with a rash on our body from what we can only anticipate was the hot tub water. It was very disappointing that we weren’t able to use the hot tub for over half of our visit, especially because the hot tub was one of the main reasons we chose the house. Customer service from the company was well below my expectations and I will not plan to rent another house from this rental company again.
