Our Best Family Vacation House Ever
Before we left this vacation, everyone agreed that this house was absolutely the best vacation property we have ever rented (and we have VRBO'd other years in CO, GA, FL, MI, and SC). We are a family of 15 with ages in the 60s and 30s, with 6 children in the single digits and our newest 1 month old. Everyone was happy with their private spaces with comfortable beds and pillows and an ensuite bath, the large, well-furnished gathering spaces both inside and outside, the massive dining table for family dinners, and the children loved the game and theater rooms and their bunk room and treehouse. The automatic garage doors were an added bonus to expand the pool and bar areas for nice indoor/outdoor spaces. The owners of this home thought of everything a family may need including half baths near the pool and family area as well as 3 separate AC units with a thermostat on every level to ensure complete comfort.
The only negatives we encountered were the very spotty WIFI for phone, internet and the Golden Tee video game which consequently did not work most of the time, the 84 degree pool temp which was a few degrees too chilly (I asked to pay extra for an increase in the temp before we arrived which was immediately denied), a limited supply of pans and cooking utensils, and the lack of a much needed ceiling fan in the only adult bedroom without one (it was extremely warm in there the entire week regardless of the thermostat settings). Regardless of these, this property is A+++
