Summary:
Enjoy setting sunsets and greeting sunrises overlooking the rolling green landscapes of Little Argyle. Where you can wake up to wildlife whilst you prepare a cup of coffee on the deck, or head into town for a gourmet breakfast or lunch. The surrounding area is ideal for taking long walks on the farm's open paddocks, with 119 acres of stunning green landscapes just 4.18 km (3 mins) away on a sealed road.
The Space:
Little Argyle Tiny House by Tiny Away is located in a town in Coonabarabran, NSW. The ultimate farm stay NSW getaway with a 2-3 hr drive to Mudgee Brewery, Pokolbin Wineries, and the town of Bylong. Other nearby attractions include Warrumbungles National Park, Pilliga Pottery, Pilliga Sandstone Caves, and Barkala Farm Stay.
A comfortable accommodation of 139 square feet with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for you to use.
If you plan to spend your farm stay NSW getaways here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you!

Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, except for the host's private residence the rear garden, and inside of sheds or garages. Guests are allowed to explore the property but are advised to take caution around dams and when walking through long grass.

Located between two properties—one being a horse farm and a farming property on the other, along with open landscapes to enjoy. One of the best farm stay NSW getaways in Australia.

- Blue Wren Café is set in a charming setting, perfect for light brunches or meeting up with pastries and coffee.
- Siding Springs Observatory opens Monday to Friday for visitors to see the large telescope and learn about astronomy.
- Warrumbungle National Park known as the "starry sky reserve," is perfect stargazing for astronomy enthusiasts and visitors.
- Pilliga Pottery is a pottery workshop where visitors can learn pottery classes and browse a selection of handcrafted ceramics.
If you want to explore more, Pilliga Sandstone Caves walking tracks are a few of the easy-access bushwalking attractions in the area.
Getting Around:
By car:
- 1 hour and 40 mins from Dubbo
- 5 1/2 hour drive from Sydney
- 10 hour drive to and from Melbourne
- 7 hour drive to and from Brisbane
By public transport:
We recommend guests to travel by private vehicle in getting to the property and other nearby attractions.
Other Things to Note:
PLEASE READ: Due to the extreme frosts that we are experiencing, there is a possibility that the water may freeze. It is advised to have showers at night before the cold really sets in.
- WIFI is not available
- No smoking allowed on the property
- Weber BBQ is available for guests to use
- We have a fire pit available for guest usage
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- If you would like to have drinking water, that is the best you bring your own
- Recycling bins are provided to dispose of trash properly
- Firewood can be purchased on site at $20 per bag
- Home grown eggs will be supplied for guests to consume
- long life milk and butter in small packers will be supplied for guests to consume
Activities: - There will be 1 stand up paddle board and 1 canoe for you to use - You may swim in the dam, feed the horses, and walk around the farm at your leisure. However, please don’t disturb livestock, ensure gates are shut
- We ask guests to exercise caution when walking near the dams
- Remember to inform your host if you plan to bring your pets to our property
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
