Modern Studio Cabin in small beachside location

This character property has 4 separate buildings, which include a newlybuilt studio and older cabin, bathroom/laundry and converted 1970's characterSkyline garage that has been converted to an open plan kitchen , lounge and dining area.

Inside the modern cabin, you'll find a very comfy king-size bed, smart TV, tea and coffee-making facilities, plus the bonus of a Nespresso. Fridge to keep your drinks cold whilst you relax on the deck or on the couch.
Second cabin has a queen size andsingle bed and is off the back deck which hasa lovely bush view.

On the back deck you'll find abbq and alarge outdoor table, which is a great spotto listen to all thebeautiful bird life. There are so manydifferent varieties, see how manyyou can spot.
If you want to relive your childhood then there is a trampoline in the back garden, bounce away.

It's only a 5 min walk to the local beach via a beautiful bush track or an easy stroll down via the road.
10 min drive to Matakana Village, where you can enjoy a spot of shopping, taste some of the local cuisines or enjoy a drink at one of the many bars.
Omaha and Tawharanui beaches are beautiful, with lovely white sand and crystal-clear water. There are also some great walks and mountain bike tracks in the local area.
A combination of permanent residents and holidaymakers.

Great option for the price
Lovely location. We didn't get there early enough to really enjoy the area and had to leave early the next day, but it would be a great summer spot. Just be aware that there isn't a bathroom attached to the units -it is a separate building, so not ideal in winter while it's raining. This may have been in the ad, but I hadn't noticed it.

Photos lead you to believe shower & toilet are in cabin but they are not! You have to walk outside in the cold to the shower & toilet. No cooking facilities in cabin, no space in cabin, a big letdown! Will never return to this dump!

Great getaway spot
The cabin was very comfortable, clean and modern and communciation with the property manager was helpful and professional. The location was wonderful - a real hidden gem.

The property looked good from the outside.Expedia sent the confirmation email but nothing was sent from the Vrbo proprt owners. Waited a couple hours after check with no results so we checked in to a hotel.

Great for a Short Stay
Unfortunately we arrived in pouring rain and then discovered the deep culverts surrounding property wouldn't allow us to get our large trailer boat onto section which wasn't a great start! Long lawns and a bbq that was in such bad repair we couldn't use it really didn't help. But as the week went by, the lawns got mowed, the sun came out and the amazing birdlife came to visit which was so exciting seeing a tree full of wood pigeons. The cabin is very small and hot but very clean and tidy, perfect for a couple with not much gear. The remaining buildings are in need of some major repairs and upkeep. If you love native birds then you will love it here, if you have a fear of spiders then you will hate it! All in all we enjoyed the surrounding area as it had so much to offer.

Quiet location
Easy access and quiet location. Comfortable large bed . Bathroom and toilet located in another building a short walk from room which was not expected. Makes for a chilly trip to the facilities on a cold night. Otherwise very pleasant.
