All the previous reviews I read about this place were true; it is quite remarkable. It's a clean well kept unit in a beautiful area overlooking Montebello Park. The rooms were excellent and everything our party of 4 adults needed was there. Mark was a perfect host and responded to any queries we had immediately. We would happily stay here again.
This was a lovely home with lots of space. The kitchen was well equipped. Parking was easy. It's very close to a nice corner store for necessities. This worked out perfectly for my family and I would highly recommend.
Check in was as expected smooth and easy. Accommodation was very nice. Comfortable beds and living area. Ample cocking utensils. Clean and quiet. Farmers market ten minutes away. Park across the street. Nice place
The host had everything we needed. Condiments, baggies, all dishes, great shampoo and conditioner. There is a convenience store a couple minutes walk that has large selection. Eggs, milk, can veggies, snacks. The property was beautiful. I loved all the flowers and canna lilies. Potted palms were great too. We travel a lot, and this is our favorite place we've ever rented. And to top it off, my grandson forgot his Apple pen that is used to draw on an IPAD, which cost $100. The host mailed it to us at no charge. GREAT host. Thanks Mark
Great apartment, well appointed, and just perfect for the family for the weekend. Grocery store within a block, and the apartment overlooks a pretty park. Just 20 minutes from Niagara Falls- lovely!
This was a great find! Easy access to Niagara Falls and Toronto was why I picked this place, but everything at the house was just perfect. The park across the street had an awesome BBQ festival and we sat on the front porch listening to music and enjoying the breeze. Will definitely be back!
This property was a little slice of heaven. The unit was wonderful and clean. It had everything you need and Mark was quick to answer any questions.
Its only a half hour to Niagara on the Lake and The Fort for an evening ghost tour. It was so much better than a hotel.
Mark and his lovely dog Kona were fantastic hosts and we would stay again when in the area.
I stay in VRBO's several times a year. Cooking can sometimes be challenging due to the essentials lacking. Mark has thought of and provided everything. There was not one thing we needed that was not at our fingertips.
The porch is wonderful. The park right across the street meant that we were able to people watch while having coffee or a cocktail. Kids playing. Folks walking their dogs. People going by saying hello. You will love the porch!
Please note that all furniture is extremely low except for one bed. If you or someone you are with has mobility issues, getting up from the furniture will be difficult. The bathroom has a soaker tub which means it is higher. This could be an issue as well. There is a washer and dryer, but they are in the basement and only accessible by going outside.
All in all, great stay! Mark is wonderful and his place is great. Very clean, affordable, well stocked, great porch, and you have Kona (Mark's golden0 greeting you daily.
Thank you for everything Mark.
Great location and setup. Mark is a great host with little touches such as fruit, coffee and croissants. Kona was a plus. Nice front porch to sit in nice weather. I would definitely stay here again.
This apartment had everything! A grocery store within walking distance to purchase milk, eggs, bread etc. The owner gave us several suggestions and was available but unobtrustive. Kona the dog was gentle and sweet and we made sure to give a pat each time we encountered. The only suggestion we can make is to get better pillows - they were flat and not supportive for old necks and backs. Otherwise the property was absolutely everything we could ask for. If in St. Catherine's again it is beautiful being close to Montebello Park and we love character homes. Thank you to Mark the owner!
This was a great home. It has everything you'll need, and Mark thought about the little things too, things that other properties often overlook like plenty of hooks in the bathroom for towels, extension cords on both sides of the bed so you don't have to crawl around looking for one.
Mark was always around when we needed him but he wasn't obtrusive at all. His dog Kona was always around to greet us as well, and she is such a sweet dog. My kids loved having her there. But, like Mark she waits for you to come to her, so if you don't like dogs, it's not an issue here.
Would definitely stay here again.
My husband, I and a friend stayed at this property during a weekend with 3 scheduled events at Brock University. Our flights had us arriving late and leaving early, and despite this- the check-in was smooth because the host was helpful and communicative. The apartment was clean and inviting with a well appointed kitchen- and clear instructions for appliances, TV and internet. The location was great not only for our scheduled university events, but also for visiting Niagara Falls and regional wineries. We were able to walk to shopping for food and essentials. The outdoor space and parking were excellent. I would recommend this property for a party of our size.
Mark was fantastic. Communicated clearly from the beginning and since he lives next-door offered to help with anything we needed during our stay. It was a pleasure :-)
Clean, modern interior, and very well outfitted, conveniently located in the downtown area.
And the porch was a nice place to have coffee and breakfast each day.

About the host
Hosted by Mark Lukasik
I live on the property with my golden retriver. She is a very gentle dog with everyone. The only common area is the washer and dryer in the basement. I give everyone their complete privacy and avaliable any time you need me.
Why they chose this property
All rooms have ceiling fans. 10 ft. high ceilings make this a very elegant unit with air conditioning. A single pullout bed so an extra guest can stay at an additional cost. Everything is walking distance out your front door. Their is no smoking, vaping or smoking cannabis on the premises.
What makes this property unique
Firestick with TV, hundreds of channels and movies. Laundry can be used in the basement when staying longer than a weekend. It is code access. Need any basics?, Avondale corner store across the park.
