This vacation property has 4 bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queen, 1 double), a fold out cot and a hide-a-bed in the family room. There is a large bunkie under the deck that sleeps 4 (summer months only). There are 3 full bathrooms and laundry.

The large expansive deck offers amazing morning sun, and stunning views of the lake. There is another sitting area around the firepit (wood fires only permitted when BC Coastal Fire Centre does not have bans or restrictions in place). There is also a hot tub with a covered sitting area.

The large dock is where you will spend your day swimming, fishing and floating. There is a beach for those who don't like deep water and boat whips to hook up your own boat. The covered area offers shade from the endless summer sun.

The home is well appointed, including linens, towels, and all kitchenware. The water system is state of the art and is safe for drinking. Wifi is available both in the house and on the dock.

There is plenty of parking inside the gates, with beautiful garden beds and a level grassy area for relaxing and games. And if you need more to do there is access across the road to the Cowichan Valley Trail for hiking, mountain biking and the Kinsol trestle. Enjoy dinner at The Lakehouse or take a local wine tour. You will have private access to the home, the dock and 1 acre property, however the property is the owners primary residence as required by B.C. laws, and will be on site in a separate location.

Beautiful home with amazing views

We spent two nights in this beautiful home for a hockey weekend. The view was amazing, hosts were great and communication was awesome. The house was well stocked, clean and the kitchen was spacious and perfect for cooking. We will definitely come back and stay here again.

Lovely way to celebrate

We stayed at this property for my mom’s milestone birthday. It easily fit 3 kids, 6 adults, and 1 dog! We had a great time relaxing, swimming, using the dock, hot tub, cooking, bonfire… and more! It’s a beautiful property and the hosts were very kind and generous.

exceptional home on the lake

This beautiful home had everything we were hoping for..enough space for a large extended family. The views of the lake were stunning. We enjoyed the kayaks and just hanging out on the dock. The kitchen was fully equipped. Shauna and Vance were friendly and helpful. We hope to come back for a return visit one day.

Fall perfection

I was with a group of 11 made up of very dear old friends, and family. We were blown away by how perfect our stay was at Shauna & Vince’s lakeside house. Everyone had space if they wanted to just relax and there was lots of communal space that was used for fab meals in a fully equipped kitchen, game nights, campfires and even dock time as the weather was stunning for October. Beds were comfy. The trail system just across the road was well used for walks every day. The hosts were easily reachable and answered all questions that arose for our large group. We definitely will be keeping this place as a favourite and hope to be back next year.
