WHAT TO DO IN CANGGU?
So you’ve got your ticket, your villa, and you made it all the way to Canggu—now what? Here’s where the real fun begins! Fill up your itinerary with these relaxing holiday ideas:
Make a splash with watersports! You can’t miss the surf at Berawa Beach. If you don’t have your own surfboard, a few beachfront establishments offer boards for rent, so you’re all set. If not surfing, kitesurfing and kiteboarding are also great options.
Sit back and watch the horizon (sunsets are mandatory!) If you’re the type who prefers to just chill out, Canggu Beach offers a tranquil spot minus the usual crowd. There are beach chairs, sun beds, and parasols along the shore, as well as unique beach bars, roast corn vendors, and ice-cold Bintang beer for sale. One last thing: missing a sunset when you’re in town is inexcusable—thank us later!
Grab a bite. Canggu has its own mix and match of must-try restaurants for any appetite: you can’t go wrong with Bottega Italiana’s authentic dishes, Bali Bowls & Smoothies for a colorful breakfast or brunch spread, and Nude for a day to night café that hits the spot every time.
Explore the local coffee scene. Take a walk around the neighborhood and try the brew at Cinta Café, 7islands, or Duatiga—chances are, there’s a perfect sandwich or pastry to pair with your cup.
Join the party! Being one of Bali’s hottest scenes, it’s a guarantee for great parties! Finns Beach Club and the newly opened Atlas Beach Fest are a must-visit, with resort amenities that usually double as a club or concert venue. If a cool Bintang is all you need, head to The Old Man for a drink right by the shore. For a casual night with lots of cuisines and drinks to choose from, the Como is right up your alley.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Sustainable Hospitality
We are proud to be part of the sustainable hospitality movement. For instance- we don't use plastic bottles, we only purchase fruits and vegetables from locals, we reuse materials, etc.
We would love to get your support by a simple routine. Please turn off your air conditioner when you leave your room. This small effort can make a significant difference in reducing our carbon footprint, and also helps us in maintaining our commitment to sustainability.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us create a more sustainable and eco-friendly environment.
PLEASE NOTE:
Bali is a tropical island and home to a wide variety of animals. Some of the most common animals in Bali are monkeys, shrews, lizards, birds, and marine life that are part of the natural beauty and diversity of the island. If you encounter them, you are not eligible for a refund. Please ask for assistance from my local team.
Also, we are proud to support Bali local service providers and have been working closely with excellent laundry services for years. If we were to buy a washing machine, this local service would lose a significant part of their business.
This is one of the many reasons why everybody loves Bali. Each small service provider receives support from the community, allowing everyone to live a good life.
