Our guest cottage is bright, comfortable, and fully self-contained. It is an open yet cosy space situated in the heart of our farm, with our sheds and market gardens on one side, and on the other an expanse of fields stretching down to Tarwin Lower and Venus Bay. The farm is close to several towns and attractions that will definitely appeal to anyone visiting South Gippsland. We are 10 minutes from the nearest beach, 5 minutes from the conveniences of Tarwin Lower, less than an hour from Wilson's Prom. You won't have to travel far to get a great meal, a coffee, or a beautiful walk.
This is a busy working farm, however the cottage itself is a very private space despite the activities happening outside.
As a working farm, you should be prepared for occasional noises, smells, mud, and other unavoidable factors that come with farming and being in the countryside.
We welcome children and infants at our farm stay, but please be aware that there are no child locks on cabinets, and no screen around the log fire. When outside the cottage, children must be supervised at all times, as there are water troughs, electric fences, farm machinery, large animals, and sometimes snakes around. Our two young working dogs are very good with kids. Our livestock should mostly be admired from a distance, but some are very friendly and we will show you how to interact with them safely.
Accessibility:
The cottage is a short walk (approx. 50 metres) from our car park. We can assist with carrying luggage if needed.
At this time, our cottage is not wheelchair accessible, with stairs at front and back. We hope to change this in the future.
If you have any difficulty seeing our guest manual while you are here, we can provide this in electronic format.
