My family enjoys staying here on our annual trips to Vermont. Nice, quick walk to the beach area, kayaks and a canoe for us to use, clean and the owner who lives next door is helpful and kind.
Denise has a lovely spot and is a wonderful host. Beds are very comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. She really goes above and beyond as a host to make sure her guest are comfortable. Joes pond is a gorgeous spot to visit.
Myself and three friends stayed for 5 days and had a lovely time. Denise welcomed us when we arrived. We were busy driving around Vermont, but the property was beautiful and we enjoyed our time there.
We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean, cozy, and right next to the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail and Joe's Pond, with its own dock. Denise was easy to contact and responded quickly to questions. In addition, she was a friendly host who wanted to make sure her guests were comfortable and well taken care of. We would stay again!
This is a tidy home and it is conveniently located though on a busy intersection with intermittent street noise. It is a beautiful view with access to the lake out back. We only wish we could've taken advantage of the offer of kayaks and a grill. We were grateful for Denise's prompt attention and consideration at check in and flexibility at check out. I appreciated that there wasn't a long list of todos before leaving. We would certainly stay here again.
Arriving shortly after a rain storm of the century, the property owner was dealing with water in the basement. A musty smell lasted for days. No one’s fault, just a disappointing circumstance. The exterior and entry needs a good pressure washing to eliminate pesky spiders and webs.
The apartment was well stocked with ample bed, bath, and kitchen supplies. Nicely located across from the country store.
Had a great stay in this VRBO! Denise was around to greet us, despite us running late past check-in time (there were 2 of us - brother & sister). Denise supplied everything you could think of, including access to her kayaks and canoe on the lake next to the rental. Place was very comfortable, furnished in a very quaint and tasteful way. Totally worth anyone's stay! The downside: extremely steep steps from the 1st floor living area to the 2nd floor bedrooms. So, if you have physical limitations you may need to reconsider this VRBO, unless you are willing to sleep on the couch downstairs. We managed well and viewed the stairs as an aerobic advantage. A road with occasional traffic runs past the front of the shared house, but the back of the house is very tranquil. There is a cute l'il strip of stores within walking distance - a well-supplied market complete with a post office, a taco restaurant, and a craft store. All in all, we had a great experience at this VRBO!!!
Such a cozy wonderful spot! We have done several rentals like this and this one was by far the most comfortable. The king size bed was amazing. The pantry had a few staples that made making dinner easy including coffee and the filters for the coffee maker. We entertained a few friends and they loved it as well. We will be back. Diane was easy to communicate with and check in and out was simple.
We can’t wait to go back!
Great experience with a hospitable host. Cozy setting in a convenient location to explore Vermont’s North East Kingdom. House backs up to beautiful Joe’s Pond and the Lamoille Valley bike trail at the junction of US Route 2 and VT Route 15, and close to interstates 91 & 93. We would love to come back again! A beautiful 4 season location!
We all enjoyed our stay here. Comfortable space for two adults and two kiddos. Lots of outdoor space to spend time in. Nice and easy walk to the public beach.
Comfortable place in a great location.
Denise is very accommodating and we lacked nothing during our stay. We felt at home immediately and enjoyed the trail, the pond, hiking in Danville and many other nearby activities. We’re looking forward to coming back.
This spotless place was as described. Owner was super friendly and helpful.
The only negative is traffic noise, but you can walk to library, general store, crafts store and antiques store, along with food truck and beach. Small price to pay :)
Denise is a thoughtful and communicative host. Her place worked perfectly for our Thanksgiving travel plans. Loved jogging on the rail trail in the snow!
Nice quaint apt. Neat and clean. Comfortable bed upstairs. Bathroom up would have been nice but we knew that upfront. Denise was a very gracious host who even made last minute changes to accommodate our changing schedule. Great place to stay as we wandered the “northern kingdom”.
We had a absolutely wonderful experience staying in Denise's rental home. They were so accommodating and friendly. Always offering items to make our stay enjoyable. Made us truly feel welcome. We look for to going back again soon.
Cute canp on pond with dock! All amenities needed for a comfortable stay! Great wifi, Great satellite tv, excellent washer and dryer, beds were comfortable, plenty of towels! Close to country store for various provisions! All in all a safe, comfy and well appointed camp on beautiful Joe’s Pond! 👍
Great, amenities and great location but a bit noisy
Wonderful location, very neat and clean. Really organized and comfortable to stay in. A bit noisy because of the intersection nearby, and both bedrooms are up some very very steep stairs. Everything else was absolutely amazing! We even got to borrow kayaks and go kayaking on the pond. The owner is incredibly nice and friendly and there to help with anything. I would absolutely stay here again but I'd bring earplugs:-)
We had a wonderful time at Joe's Pond! Denise was a great host and puts lots of care into keeping the apartment well stocked and clean. She was very kind and was easy to get in touch with if we had any questions.
It was perfect being at the pond and also next to the LVRT. We enjoyed shopping at the craft shop across the street, boating on the pond, biking on the trail, and driving to visit nearby towns. We had such a nice week and look forward to coming back again!
