Could be better
Overall, it was not a terrible place; it was a good location and quiet. The unit was a little run down; the blinds were broken, and some outlets did not work. The biggest issue was the cleanliness of the unit. As soon as we got there, we took off our shoes and walked around. You could tell that the floor either hadn't been mopped or it had, but with dirty water. I let the property manager know, and they offered to have the cleaners come back out, but we just ended up taking care of it ourselves. There was an immense amount of dust around the vents, and one of the extra blankets that was in the closet had a band-aid stuck to it, which then made me wonder if they were washing all of the bedding. The scary thing was that I found a pill, which was clearly a prescription medication, by the side of the couch. If I had found it, then they should have found it. I do want to say though, I did reach out to the property manager and they were responsive and said that they would talk to the cleaners. No way for me to know for sure if it occurred, but I hope that they did.

No Concern from anyone, They did not care!
I am very sad about the way things turned out with this property. We have stayed at many Vrbo's and had great experiences with all. We really liked the location of this property and all the walking trails. The house was great and had everything we needed. The second morning we were there, we decided to swim. We were at the pool for about 15 minutes before my 5 year old sat on the edge of the pool and got up screaming that his leg was burning. After investigating it further we realized he sat down in pool chemical (white power) and that it was all over the pool area. We quickly dumped him into the pool to dilute and wrapped him in a towel. The towel immediately turned white and he was still crying. We stripped him down and ran him back to the house(All of this should be on the pool cameras). After washing him off, I let him soak in the bath while I messaged David who was managing the property. His response back was "We do not mange the pool, but I will pass your massage on to the HOA". He also Sent me Tracy, head of maintenance number. I called Tracy and his only response was " I don't know how that got there, I didn't put chemicals in the pool today". I asked my husband to go to take pictures and when he got there Tracy was already there spraying down the area. I told 2 people that my 5 year old had significant chemical burns. NO ONE CARED, no apology, is he OK, NOTHING. I asked David for a mangers number and have yet to get one. We did contact our Doctor to see what to do.
