Creekside Cabin on 40 Acres, F/P, Campfire, Trail by Creek

Beautiful Sugar Creek winds around the large screened porch of the Wildacre cabin, only yards away. Sleep with your windows open and let the bubbling of the creek lull you to sleep at night.

Enjoy a lazy afternoon in the hammock by the creek or relax in the rockers on the screened porch. Table and chairs available on screened porch for creekside dining in comfort. Picnic tables by the creek. Toast marshmallows in the campfire ring. Hike the trail on the property that crosses the creek several times, or hike on the Pin-Hoti Trail (joins the Appalachian Trail at Benton McKaye), only a mile away.

Wildacre is located in the North Georgia mountains, off US 76/GA 282 between Ellijay and Chatsworth, GA. Near Fort Mountain State Park, Carters Lake, Chief Vann House, New Echota, outlet malls in Dalton, and antiquing in Ellijay.

This is my second stay and I absolutely love it. Judy is an amazing host with a very quick response time. The Cabin is very relaxing. This was me and my sister first time ever going on vacation together and I can’t think of a better place to do that. Can’t wait to go back.

Relaxing getaway
Cabin was remote but still easy to get to other things in the area. Sitting on theScreened in back porch listening to the creek babbling was just what we needed. Crossed the creek to explore the trail-lots of fun! The welcome basket was a nice surprise! What a peaceful place—would highly recommend. Judy was quick to reply to any questions we had and there was a lot of info about things to do in the area.

Beautiful and Peaceful Property
We stayed for 3 weeks and didn’t want to leave. There is so much to see and explore on this beautiful piece of land, and the peacefulness of evenings spent by the fire pit or in the rocking chairs listening to the creek can’t be beat. Coming from a very overpopulated county in FL, this was a world away and the utmost peace and quiet. We saw deer, otters, fish, turtles, etc and loved it. Judy was just a text away for anything we needed, and they put so many thoughtful touches into the cabin and property, including a very sweet welcome basket. We’ll be back!

Heaven on earth
Me and my family had the best stay! It was so relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed listening to the creek from the front porch, hiking up the creek, shooting our pistols, and just letting the kids explore. Definitely would recommend if you’re trying to get away for a few days.

The rushing creek on the property is amazing! We loved the sound of the heavy rain on the tin roof, the wood burning fireplace, the coffee on the screened porch and so much more! Secluded peace
My husband and I love this charming cabin especially the huge screened porch perfect for rocking, swinging, and dining while listening to the babbling creek. It is located conveniently to Elijay and Blue Ridge. We wished we had booked another day just to spend at the cabin enjoying the hammock and fire pit. The heated bathroom floors was a nice surprise. The welcome basket was so thoughtful. Judy was very responsive and stay in contact with us.

Cabin Heaven by the Creek
The perfect private getaway we were looking for! That mountain stream and easy walking by the creek without having to be a mountain climber. One set of steps to the cabin too, which is absolutely perfect for us. The cabin itself is extremely clean and so comfortable. Decor is spot on and great for a family or a couple. The master tub was amazing with great tile work. But best of all was the attention to detail by our host Judy with a welcoming basket and no fuss check in-out, yet attentive to any questions. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Just what the doctor ordered😊

Absolutely GLORIOUS
This property is all and even more than the listing indicates! It is the cleanest rental we have experienced in creek-front properties and yet, maintains the "rustic" vibe with clean and more modern touches! This is a true gem!!!! The hospitality of the owner was above and beyond! Communication was superior and responsiveness was immediate! The entire experience from location, to property, to babbling creek, to responsive owners is the BEST we hae experienced and ought to be a model for all! Job well done!!!! We WILL be back!!!

Magical, relaxing, peaceful cabin by the creek
The cabin and location is private, peaceful and meserising. The screened in large porch overlooking the creek is incredibly peaceful, relaxing and soothing for the soul. If you need a place to destress, this is it. We spent hours reading, enjoying the fresh mountain air, hiking and enjoying the sounds of the water flowing in the creek. The cabin has everything you need and most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Little touches throughout make this so comfortable and a feeling of home away from home. Judy is the best host and quick to respond. We highly recommend this wonderful place and plan to go back next year.

Stayed here with family and it was beautiful! Loved playing in the creek, roasting marshmallows, swinging on the front porch, sipping wine by the fire pit. The cabin is beautiful with so many great details. Check out the toilet paper roller in the second bathroom! Wonderful gift basket was waiting for us upon arrival. Checking in/out was a breeze. We will definitely be back!

Cozy Cabin
We had a wonderful stay at Wildacre! The cabin is nestled in a beautiful setting of mountains, trees , and a perfect creek that is so relaxing! A softball tournament brought us to the area. We were grateful to get away to the peaceful and scenic cabin after a long day at the ballfield. Enjoyed the sound of the creek and my girl enjoyed dipping their toes in the creek.
