Welcome to 56 Ocean Parkway in beautiful Ocean Pines, Maryland. Our home is a great place for a relaxing. Stay near the beach, on a quiet street in a family-friendly community packed with amenities. Parking at the property accommodates three vehicles. Overflow parking is available off premises. Trailers for boats and recreational vehicles cannot be parked at the property.

Our property is not a party house. Respect for our property and our neighbors is required. There is a strictly enforced 11:00PM noise curfew.

This charming home is situated on a private wooded lot. The home features a fully equipped kitchen, Smart TVs, free WiFi, washer/dryer and large sunroom and deck. It can comfortably accommodate two families {8 guests) with three bedrooms and a queen sleep sofa in the family area.

Five pools can be accessed for a daily fee. The home is located two blocks from the Ocean Pines Swim and Racquet Club, which includes kayak rentals during high season. Daily pool or tennis passes are available for a fee. Ocean Pines also has 3 additional pools, including the large indoor Sports Core Pool if the weather is not cooperating. The Beach Club is located at 4901 Coastal Highway (1.7 miles away). It has 2 pools and a restaurant. A parking permit is required.

Ocean Pines Golf & Country Club is nearby. It is Delmarva's only championship golf course designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones, Sr. Enjoy a round of golf on this challenging 18-hole championship course for a fee (2.7 miles away).

In addition to the Ocean City beaches, restaurants, and many attractions, also nearby is Assateague Island National Seashore (15 miles away). Whatever it is you choose to do, we are confident that this home will provide your family a vacation to remember.

Family vacation

We loved the Ocean Pines community. Our only negative is that the house in located on the main road (Ocean parkway) into Ocean Pines. We rec'd our email a week before the stay with all instructions. Door code and wifi were perfect. Roku TV was nice. House was exactly as pictured. Loved the small touches such as a candy dish, board games and menu suggestions. House was VERY clean. The screened in porch was relaxing at night to sit and talk/play games. We used the grill and it was very clean. The shed had beach toys that my teens loved. Bedrooms were roomy and comfy. We used the washer/dryer and worked great for those wet suits and towels. Farmer market was nice. We ate at Pines Public House and Paradise Pizza. Both were amazing and highly recommend. We bought a parking permit for one day for Ocean Pines Beach Club(in OC). I recommend if you are going to beach use the beach club. Cost 47.00 for parking for one day. Less hassle then ooking for parking and feeding a meter all day. The beach was very nice with with lifeguard. Umbrella and chair rental available on beach. We paid 10.00 per person to use the pool at the beach club.The food at the beach club is very good. We used the Racquet Club pool in Ocean Pines. It is located near the bay so it was nice watching boats. Cost is 10.00 per person. We will definitely return to the beach house for future vacations!

Poor management

The property was in great condition, well-equipped and very clean. When we arrived on Tues., we tried to access Wi-Fi using the password give. We called the person designated as HELP contact who bounced us to someone else. It turned out the owner had changed password and it had not been updated. We could have accepted that if the management company had been more accessible and more communicative. It wasn't until Thurs. that we finally got a return call after several emails and phone calls. That person was rather rude telling me everything I needed was in first email sent after booking. WRONG! the emails sent had only info on check-in, etc. with a full page on linen rentals, which we did not use. He kept saying we had the info on all our questions. I did not appreciate him accusing me of not reading material sent, especially when we found othat the info was inaccurate. Furthermore, I feel their presentation of the property as to beach access and pool access was misleading. Yes, there are 5 pools but it should have been mentioned access was $10 for adults and $8 for kids daily. As to the O.C. beach use. The permit for parking at beach location was $45/day or $150/week, far too unreasonable to take advantage of. We ended up going to Assateague National Park for $25 week pass. So we did find the location somewhat inaccessible to daily beach use. It's a shame the management company was so unavailable when needed and unaccommodating when finally reached.
