Great house, well accommodated for.Loved the complimentary Sour dough and local honey. And to be able to bring our furry boy Charlie (dog ) with us was amazing.
We stayed at this property for one night passing through. Our dog loved the big backyard and the bed was comfortable, the coffee machine and bread was a nice touch! Thank you
A beautifully located residence, homely, everyone that was needed. Secure yard for 2 dogs, great walks on the doorstep and great proximity to main street. Loved our stay , would definitely recommend and will certainly make this another holuday. ❤️
Great location that is walking distance to town. The house has plenty of space with a great backyard that is dog friendly. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the place
Comfortable and welcoming home with a big backyard
This is a lovely country home with an incredibly well-equipped kitchen and a fenced backyard that my dog loved exploring. We only stayed for one night but would have wanted for nothing if we'd been there for longer. Olive is a warm and caring host who made sure we had clear directions to the property and a comfortable stay.
The home is very comfortable, has a great backyard, close to amenities and is in a quiet street. It’s perfect .

Quiet, well located and comfortable.
Our stay at this home was fantastic. In a quiet street with a short distance to the supermarket and bakery. Two very restful nights sleep. Loved our stay.
Thanks for an awesome stay and location. It was really cosy with the fireplace. We had a great time thanks for your hospitality. We definitely recommend for a stay in Orbost. It definitely felt like a home away from home.
Great accomodation and top notch communication.
We are from Canberra and while most of the population travel to the south coast… We find Orbost and marlo to be a hidden holiday gem on the VIC coast at about 3 hours and 40 minutes away from ACT.
Charming place to stay. Great location, walking distance to town.
Family enjoyed their stay. House was very comfortable. Nice big bedrooms, lovely garden. Felt like a home away from home. Had everything they needed, the only thing negative was that the Wifi had expired. Would definitely recommend this charming home. Thankyou 😀
Our family had a fantastic time in Orbost over the Easter long weekend, and a big part of that was the lovely home where we stayed.
Three really comfortable bedrooms, a great kitchen stocked with local goodies, and a beautiful back deck and backyard, perfect for watching the sun set. You can feel the love that has gone into the house.
Close to the Orbost shops, also very handy as a base for exploring local attractions. Highlights for us were the beaches at Cape Conran and the Sailors Grave brewery (walking distance from the house).
Highly recommended.

We are a retired couple (ex teachers) who enjoy travelling and meeting people. Our permanent home is in N E Victoria, the Orbost home is our holiday house.
Why they chose this property
Our daughter, son in law and two grandchildren live in Orbost and as it is a long drive from home for us, we purchased Gordon Street as a base when we visit. We loved the quiet street, the proximity to the Main Street and our daughter’s house. We also like older houses and so this one appealed to us.
What makes this property unique
We enjoy spending time in Orbost and exploring the beautiful countryside and activities East Gippsland has to offer. There are still many new places to explore, beaches to walk, camp spots to discover. Orbost is a friendly town and we feel very welcome here.
