Deer Pines is a stylish cabin set on a heavily wooded lot in the Hochatown forest. It's the perfect place to escape, relax, and connect.
Living Spaces
Walk in the front door and you’ll know this cabin is different. Lots of windows fill the space with light. White shiplap walls, warm, rustic distressed floors and ceilings, and furnishings that make you want to stay and relax. There is a queen size pullout couch for the kids, with crisp percale cotton sheets to keep them comfy. The kitchen is gorgeous – custom painted blue cabinets, white quartz countertops, stainless appliances and Delta faucet all exude quality.
Coffee is a priority for us, so there is a Keurig, a drip maker, a french press, and a cold brew maker. The rest of the kitchen is thoroughly stocked. The dining room table is a perfect gathering spot for playing the great selection of board games.
Bedroom
The Serta Hybrid king mattress and crisp percale cotton bedding will lure you in. Little touches like reading lamps, built-in USB chargers, and super cozy blankets just add to the experience. The double doors to the deck hint at what waits you outside. There’s a tv with cable mounted above the dresser.
Bathroom
The bathroom is awesome. Soaking tub, huge curbless shower with two heads, and a beautiful custom vanity will make you want to remodel. The tile floor is stunning. The fullsize washer/dryer, iron, and handheld steamer will let you pack light.
Outside Amenities
The decks were hugely important in the design of all our cabins. The front deck is welcoming, and designed to minimize the steps needed to walk up to the front door. The back deck has everything we thought you’d want at a cabin: a cozy sitting area by the fireplace and TV, a dining table overlooking the woods, an awesome hot tub with privacy, and a Weber grill tied into our underground propane tank so you never run out of gas.
Steps off the deck is a cool fire pit made of stones from the lot, surrounded with Polywood Adirondack chairs. Firewood is always free and plentiful. The half circle driveway is ideal for a trailer – so be sure to bring your boat or UTV.
Deer Pines was built on what was a deer run – and we often see deer pass through before dusk. The lot is heavily wooded and the trees are amazing.
Location
Deer Pines is in Hochatown – about 20 minutes north of Broken Bow – and is the area that most people are referring to when they say “Broken Bow”.
The Mountain Fork Brewery, Grateful Head Pizza, and lots of our other favorite restaurants are right down the road. The cabin is about a paved mile west of the main road 259, just past the Carson Creek entrance to the State Park – a perfect place for accessing Broken Bow Lake. It’s also the perfect gateway to all that hiking, biking and exploring that awaits in the Ouachita National Forest. Once you book, we'll send you a link to a cool App we've developed that should answer any questions you have about the cabin, and provides a dining and activity guide to Hochatown - including maps or the area.
Pets
Because of allergy concerns, no pets please.
We invite you to come see what is so special about the area that has become a happy place for us. Our cabins are all designed with our guests in mind, and we strived to think of every detail. Each of them is unique, and we encourage you to come experience all of them.
