Along the Severn River, set between the Big Chute and Swift locks, is a magnificent oasis. Whether a family vacation, friendly gathering, or a work-from-home away from home experience, this cottage is available to you all-year round. Cobalt Point has everything you will need for a perfect getaway.

Cobalt Point is equipped with a large spacious main floor, open concept kitchen and living room, an oversized couch, and a large curved TV – all which are perfect for relaxing together indoors. But why stop there? Our terraces, two docks, fire pit and hot tub will be more than enough to keep you occupied while relishing the great outdoors. Then, when the night is still young, but the party is thriving, you can enjoy a drink at the downstairs bar for a nightcap.

Featuring 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, you and your guests will have all the comfort you need for a restful slumber to prepare for all of the fun Cobalt Point has to offer. An additional bunkie that sleeps 4, with one full bathroom, is available upon request (fee not included, contact owner for details).

Set on a large property, Cobalt Point is away from the hustle and bustle of the city – but it is not too far away from all the fun that Port Severn has to offer. Enjoy the nearby Six Mile Lake Provincial Park (est. 35 min drive) in the warmer months and Mount St. Louis Moonstone (est. 30 min drive) trails and skiing in the Winter.

Beautiful - would love to go back
The cottage was absolutely beautiful. My wife was already saying "when we come back next year" midway through the week! The cottage felt very private - couldn't see the neighbours to either side. The deck was absolutely gorgeous, and we spent a lot of time outside reading in the sun. At previous cottages we always found things that were broken, or ugly, etc. There was nothing like that here - the cottage was in immaculate condition, and everything felt completely new. Washing machine and dryer were also nice and new. There was some serious current in the water, which initially made swimming more challenging, until we figured out how to go with the flow and how to get out of the current (swim towards the shore and there's a bit of an calm area behind the boat dock). Then it became very fun to "fly" down river with the current. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Lovely escape, just needs some fine tuning
We had a lovely week at this cottage. It was clean and well stocked. Lots of space for everyone the grounds are very pretty. A few things that could be improved upon: 1) check-in was 4pm but we were told we could have access at 3pm; when we arrived at 3pm the cleaner was still there so we did have to wait a while to get in. More just confusion than anything; 2) A check-in binder would be helpful for directions on garbage, connecting to the sonos system etc.; 3) Check out was supposed to be 11 but we received an email late the night prior to departure that it had been changed to 10am because we had rented to bunkie. Luckily we were ready to go but, again, process could be a bit smoother. Other than that, it was a great week. There is definitely current in the river so anyone who is not a strong swimmer may need a lifejacket!
