First Family Trip to Our Childhood Place

We are considering a family cabin and decided to try out a 9 night trip to see how everyone fared…well, it was great and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves! The house is big and beautiful so there was lots of room to spread out and find personal space when desired. It is right on the water and the views/sounds were therapeutic…on our return home, we all wished we still on the patio with the view! Thank you Kurt for accommodating our large family group including pets🙏

Lovely getaway on the Sunshine Coast

Kurt and Trisha's home is a perfect escape! There's nothing like taking a break from life to the sound of the ocean every day. So relaxing and serene. The house is outfitted with everything you could need, and it beautifully appointed. Thanks to our hosts for sharing their home with us!

Beautiful home and view with lots of room and things to do

We had 6 adults, 2 teenagers, and two elementary kids. Everyone found things to do! There is the beach, a pool table, ping pong, an enormous TV with car racing gear, plenty of board games and books and even LPs and a record player. We do a family trip frequently, and this was our best experience yet. The house is large and roomy. The one downside was the overstuffed furniture in both the living room and the downstairs game room was quite uncomfortable. An upgrade in that area would be a big improvement. The beds were great, and the place was very clean.

Great place, great host. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. House is gorgeous and can’t get a better view. Kurt was super easy to communicate with and even brought us a freshly caught coho by himself. Great weekend.

Beautiful Mansion by the beach

We love our stay at this home. The host (Kurtz) is very friendly and welcoming. Kurtz met us and greet us at the home. He showed us the house, where to crab, and he has a list of recommended places to visit. The home is very spacious and nicely design. It has beautiful view and a lot of crabs to trap. The house also has many kayaks and paddle board for the group to enjoy the beach. The house has abundant items to use. It has an Entertaiment room for the group to enjoy with pool table, karaoke machine, and games board for your group. We did not want to leave the mansion. Thank you Kurtz for allowing us to stay in such a beautiful place.

Remarkable and unforgettable experience

We wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude for spending 3 days with such a remarkable and unforgettable experience during our teacher's annual retreat at this splendid house. The panoramic views of the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets through those expansive windows were absolutely awe-inspiring. The comfortable outdoor balcony and covered areas allowed us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature, and the chance to watch whales, eagles, and birds in their natural habitat was a true privilege. The host's thoughtful gesture of providing clean rooms with extra linens for all nine of us was incredibly sweet and made our stay all the more comfortable. The host is friendly and helpful, especially when we accidentally triggered the alarm, eased our worries and ensured that all of us felt at home. We can't thank Kurt enough for his warm hospitality. We do hope we can come back again soon!
