A short drive up Midland Highway from Daylesford or from Back Hepburn Road from Hepburn Springs, you'll find this cosy cottage.
It’s equipped with open plan living/kitchen, gas cook top (no oven), pot belly fire place, bathroom and bedroom. This is a beautiful space to enjoy the starry sky and wake up to kangaroos grazing.
The kitchen has your basic needs for cooking and a lovely selection of herbal teas. This is a place to disconnect from technology as there is no wifi available however phone reception is good.
The country that that cottage is on, is homelands of the Jarra People and is known to be healing country. The guidance and wisdom that you’re able to connect to here is profound. It’s a very special place to connect deeply to yourself, your family, friends and ancestors. Take time to visit the grandparent trees in the bush, as they are significant in age.
During certain months of the year, you’ll find rare indigenous orchids and flowers growing in the bush.
There is a fire circle that you can use in the bush, during the winter months to pay your respects to country, the first people and your own linage.
As we are surrounded by bush we have Antechinus and micro bats that you’ll hear, they do not live inside the cottage, they are in the roof. We respect all creatures, we are happy to let them be.
The cottage is located next to another dwelling, where sometimes our family stay, with our dog who is a friendly Jack Russell.
