About this property

A Mountain Paradise | Hot Tub, Community Pool

When you stay in A Mountain Paradise, you don’t have to jump in the car to have yourself a great time. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin is located in the family-friendly resort of Cabins at the Crossing, where in the summer you’ll have free access to its swimming pool, located just across from A Mountain Paradise. There is also a playground and pavilion on the resort property. You can even stroll along the resort’s well-manicured walkways to the private fishing pond.

The cabin itself has its own delights. Bring a book and a cool drink out to the rockers on the spacious wrap-around deck and relish the fresh mountain breeze and the sunshine—you’ll ease into vacation mode in no time. Take a soak in the deck’s roomy hot tub while wrens and warblers sing during the day or as whip-poor-wills serenade at night!

Inside, you’ll find a full-size pool table in A Mountain Paradise’s upstairs game room, plus plenty of room for the kids to sprawl out with their games and toys. On the main floor, the living room has a TV with satellite channels and a DVD player, along with ample cushioned seating so that everyone can gather together. Perhaps you want to warm up by the stone-surround fireplace and play Pictionary or tell ghost stories. After all, how often do you get a chance to spend quality time together without having to rush here or there?

You can relax over family meals in the cabin too. Sure, there are scores of restaurants nearby, but it’s often more fun, and more budget-friendly, to eat in. The dining table seats four guests with ease, and another two can saddle up to the adjacent breakfast bar. The kitchen has all the appliances, cookware and tableware you’ll need, whether you’re planning to whip up elaborate feasts or simply brew coffee and mix smoothies in the morning. There’s even a dishwasher, which will eliminate squabbles over whose turn it is to wash the dishes.

To get the most out of a vacation, you need to be well-rested. A Mountain Paradise has you covered! Both of its bedrooms, one upstairs and the other on the main level, include a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom complete with a jetted tub. What better way to end an on-the-go day than by lazing among soothing swirls of steamy water? With two equally pampering primary bedrooms, the cabin can accommodate two couples as comfortably as it can a family. And because each bedroom has its own full bathroom, you don’t have to worry about a line forming outside your door as you indulge in some private time.

As a bonus, the living room sofa opens into a bed for two, so that as many as six people can sleep comfortably in A Mountain Paradise. Other extras include a washer, a dryer and free Wi-Fi. You’ll arrive to find the beds impeccably made and plenty of clean towels and extra bedding waiting, so if you want to start your vacation with a nap or a soak, you can!

Once you’re all rested up and rarin’ to go, you’ll find plenty to do just minutes away. The resort is less than two miles from the Pigeon Forge Parkway, the town’s main thoroughfare, so you can drive to everything from Dollywood to the Titanic Museum, Gatlinburg Golf Course to Parrot Mountain and Gardens within minutes.

Just slightly farther is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and downtown Gatlinburg, home to an aquarium, the Guinness World Records Museum, and more. Nearby is the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Community, an eight-mile loop of more than 100 galleries, studios and shops.

When you stay at A Mountain Paradise, your vacation can be as action-packed or as restful as you desire. So go ahead and reserve your stay today, we’re looking forward to seeing you!

Overall good

Beautiful cabin. Listing states sleeps six we didn’t pull the sleeper sofa out until our last night and found it was missing springs on the bottom right side which made it unusable. The dryer lint catcher is broken. A few things need repaired/replaced. Check in and check out was very convenient. We were actually able to check in early which made it nice.

The cabin was excellent for our family great location and we loved it

We loved it perfect size for our family. The only thing I would recommend would be a mattress change out in the bedroom upstairs, I need a mattress topper. The property had everything as promised and was in great working order. We would definitely stay hear again. The process of renting was a good one.

Had a decent time !

Cabin clean and comfortable. Views , only real issue. No Mountain View or back balcony for privacy . Check In /out times (4pm check-In and 10 AM check out) seems ridiculous for Paying the daily rate I was charge .

nice place overall

Overall its a nice place an we enjoyed our stay there although we do have a few complaints. First the kitchen was lacking a few basic its such as hot pads and some utensils and the dishwasher didn't use the soap unless you put the tablet on the rack. As others have said, the pool table is just about worthless as there is not enough room to around it for pool sticks. The multicade machine wasn't working when we got there and we called and complained about it twice. The first time they said someone would come out to look at it. No one showed up. The second time we got no response. My kids and I were very disappointed as we were looking forward to playing the old arcade games. The AC started died the second day. They did have someone out that evening and got it working.

bad experiences galore

Stay away as the cabin is operable only via a code and one does not know how many people have access to the code. So keep your valuables with you at all time. Also having the code means if you do not have the code (even if its the fault of the property manager/organization) no matter what happens you cannot enter the property. Having a vacation with a constant thought of what if I cannot enter the house is a really bad thought. Atleast a key within the lockbox would have made the worry less.

nice cabin

This cabin met our needs. It was pretty basic. The arcade didn't work and it is right on the road, so we had a lot of road noise. But it was clean and in a great location relative to all of the activities in Pigeon Forge.

Vacation 2020

The location of the cabin was great, off the main road but still close. We enjoyed the pool that was right anove our cabin. The kids loved walking right in front of our cabin to see the fishing pond. The only down fall was we did have a couple cockroaches, which I understand because we did have the tree line back up to the house.

March 2020 Trip

Cabin was everything advertised Cozy place to stay off the main road, but still very close to Pigeon Forge. Had everything you could need and more (flat screen tvs, jetted tubs in both rooms, pool table, arcade games, and the outdoor jacuzzi) My only complaint would be the check out time at 10 AM. Slightly earlier than most hotels in the area, but this is a minor inconvenience compared to everything else the property has going for it. Would definitely stay again👍

Cute cabin but needs deep clean

Nice little cabin but needs a good cleaning. Very dusty, walls dusty, thick dust on curtains. We saw some roaches in the kitchen. Room where pool table is is too small making it difficult to play a proper game of pool. Hot tub was nice. Only one chair on porch so couldn't enjoy sitting out there. Needs some attention and tender loving care but could be very nice. We enjoyed our visit to the area and highly recommend Smokey Mountain Alpine Coasters

Very disappointed

As soon as we got to the property we looked over the place as we do with every place we stay. We first noticed only 1 rocking chair on the porch which the arm was broken on. Keeping in mind this cabin was to accommodate 6. The grill was only HALF a grill that you would find at a park. We had to go buy a grill to be able to even cook anything in a timely manner. We walked through the doors instantly noticing the area rug was dirty and the hardwood floors needed to be swept/mopped on the main level. Going up the stairs to the second bedroom the carpet at the top of the stairs was very loose from the floor needing to be stretched. The pool table has very little room. When we tried to play pool on 3 of the 4 sides the bottom of the pool stick would hit the wall. We checked out the bedroom and there was dirt and grass all over the floor and a small black hair tie left on the floor. The floors needed a good vacuum and shampooing. The upstairs bathroom sink was nasty so it hadn't been cleaned either. The entire cabin looked as if it had never been dusted because there were cob webs in every room. There were dead bugs along with a few alive spiders in the cabin. We called and reported the broken chair on the deck and the guys came and got it for repair but never returned it nor left a separate chair so in the end we had nothing to sit on outside to enjoy the scenery. We have made contact with the property managers and the first time they called back but went straight to voicemail and have yet to call us back after we have attempted 2 other times. We are VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Good

Overall a good cabin. The location was perfect, away from the crowds but close to attractions and shopping. The cabin was fairly clean. It could use a good deep cleaning though. The carpets had stains, cobwebs on the high ceilings, dusty air/ heat vents. There was a limited supply of dinnerware so we went with paper. The pillows were terrible..very flat. The pool table was too close to the walls, making it difficult to play. The "bear proof " container on the porch was a regular outdoor trash can so we did have problems with animals getting into the trash at night. The fishing pond was right across the Rd and well stocked with small fish. Very clean and mowed around. Big wrap around porch. Hot tub is very privatewith a door leading right out to it from the master bedroom. Cabin was very roomy. Overall it was pretty and nice.

Perfect for our family!

The location was just far enough out of town you could enjoy the peacefulness, but close enough to go explore Pidgeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing! Would definitely recommend his place to my friends and family.

Disappointed

Cons... Cabin needs TLC (Tender loving care) & updating. 1. We were told to keep trash in bear proof containers. There's wasn't one. 2. There wasn't enough kitchen utensils, bowls or pans. 3. Dishwasher wouldn't clean dishes. 4. AC/heat didn't work. We called for repairs but we had to wait until the next day. We were told on the phone they would bring out a portable AC unit & fans. When the guy came out, he was intoxicated & didn't have the fans. 5. The comforters on the beds were old & falling apart. 6. Trash was in the yard & the grass needed cutting. 7. There was only one rocking chair. Who wants to sit on the porch by themselves? 8. The app info gave conflicting info from what was in the book at the cabin. One or the other needed updated. 9. Password for the WiFi listed wrong on app & book. Although we finally did figure it out. 10. None of the inside doors would lock. Bedrooms or bathrooms. Pros... 1. Nice area 2. Close to town
