We loved the location of this house and being right on the beach. For that reason, plus the hottub, we recommend it to those who might not care as much about the house itself. While the place was very cute and charming, it feels like a house that someone designed for VRBO but never stayed in themselves.There isn’t a great deal of privacy: the shower itself is very short, with a skylight installed so an average height person can stand. If that doesn’t annoy you, the skylight looks up at the neighboring building’s windows, so it’s easy for someone to see you while showering or potentially using the toilet. (That building appeared to be unoccupied during our stay.)They installed electric blinds throughout the house that didn’t work, and the blinds themselves are light filtering, so there’s no privacy at night. They did install a blackout curtain in the bedroom, which was nailed into the wall. For some reason, the hottub lid was incredibly heavy. Any older couple would not have been able to remove it by themselves. All in all, the location is great and the house itself looks well styled and comes fully stocked with almost everything you’d need, but it’s not nearly as nice and private as it appears in pictures. The house just isn’t as polished as it appears and some corners seem to have been cut along the way.

4.8 star stay! Everything was great, we will definitely consider returning for our next trip
Place was great! Its everything shown on the booking site. Direct beach access, stocked kitchen, very clean and safe for kids. Only reason its not a perfect stay, the dryer heating element failed and we did not have a way to dry towels or clothes, and the primary bed could have been more comfortable. I'm sure the dryer will be fixed right away. Again, nothing major. We will likely return for a second visit.

Overall loved the location and size of this place. Perfect for myself, my husband, and dog. Just wish the main bed was bigger. Modern look is great but things like the couch and rugs look were a bit worn.

Amazing beach house! Dreamy stay!
Amazing beach house. Perfect size for a small family. The hot tub was perfect and the access to the beach made the entire stay dreamy. The kitchen is fully stocked. The listing doesn’t mention specifics but everything I needed to make a full dinner was there including a blender, lots of pots and pans, coffee maker, cooking utensils, plenty of plates and bowls and basically anything you need. Plenty of linens and towels plus a washer and dryer with laundry detergent. The town itself was so cute and the neighboring towns are picturesque. This was the perfect way to spend a vacation. We got cozy and watched movies, made food, soaked in the hot tub and took our dog on the beach. Perfect for an Autumn visit and I’d imagine also for a summer visit. Highly reccomend.

Fantastic accommodation for a getaway weekend for two!
The property was wonderful - exceeded expectations which were already high! Rockaway Beach is a short drive to either Tillamook or Cannon Falls, so there are a ton of choices within reach! The property was well-equipped with everything we needed. The proximity to the ocean, the gas fireplace just feet from the back deck, and a hot tub - just all amazing! Thank you for a wonderful weekend! Cheers!

I loved the house and the location and overall had an amazing stay. I was disappointed that the fire pit was never fixed despite daily communication about it and repeatedly being told that it would be taken care of right away. The rental was very expensive for me as a single mom, and to miss out on the fire pit experience with my daughter was a big letdown.

Great getaway!
This was a perfect getaway for my son and I. Loved the clean and quiet location on beach. Super cute place, will book again. Only reason I didn't give it complete 5 stars is the hot tub was only hot one day and only had four plates and 2 cups (needs a few more dishes). Had an issue with kids using a drone over the property and that wasn't very comfortable. Called Meredith and they told me to contact the police if I was concerned. We didn't and after an hour they left. But other than that we really enojoyedthe place and our stay! Do rent this place!!

There was something wrong with the hot tub. It was unable to maintain heat without the lid on it. So we were barely able to use it. More of a "warm" tub. Being able to use the hot tub was the main reason to stay there.

Visually Stunning…Comfortable….meh
The cottage is stunning! The heated floor in the bathroom…wonderful! The outside fire table, view, and access to the beach…utter perfection!!! The hot tub was exactly what I needed and the kitchen was stocked just right. My ONLY complaint is that the seating, while looking beautiful, was extremely uncomfortable. I wanted to spend a few days with just me and my dog watching movies, reading my kindle, and walking on the beach but the sofa was way too firm and the back too short to really get comfortable. I pulled out all the blankets and throws and sat on that on the sofa and it helped a little. Also, the bed was too firm for me. But they had a down matter topper that I folded in half and slept on that on the bed and it was just right. So, I gave 5 stars because other people may find the bed and seating comfortable but, when all’s said and done, the cottage and location is stunning!!

Family time getaway
The property was perfect for our family of three. The location was great. It was easy to explore the coast from this area. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the hot tub after. The house was beautiful and had plenty for us to do. It had everything we needed. I would definitely try and stay there again.
