Discover Ludere, an idyllic retreat for couples, families, and groups, designed to be your home away from home. Nestled within the scenic Links Lady Bay Golf Course, this modern two-story home offers bright, spacious living with breath-taking sunrise and sunset views over the ocean and hills.

Our offering is all inclusive - no additional fee for linen and all beds will be fully made for you ready for your arrival (our home is one of the few large properties in the area that offers this).

Enjoy luxurious relaxation and quality time with loved ones in a home styled for comfort and elegance. The house is equipped with Wi-Fi and five smart TVs with access to Netflix, Stan, Disney+, Foxtel, Paramount Plus and Prime.

The well-appointed kitchen comes stocked with condiments, pantry items, and access to seasonal fruits, vegetables, and herbs from our outdoor vegetable patch.

This light-filled home provides a tranquil, private oasis with popular dining options, beaches, and recreational activities all at your fingertips.

No detail has been overlooked to ensure year-round comfort. The house features reverse cycle heating and cooling throughout, ceiling fans in the upstairs bedrooms and living areas, and a combustion fireplace for extra warmth and ambiance during cooler months.

Given the property's versatility, it suits multiple travellers and needs.

***PLEASE NOTE our rates are based on twin share, a charge of $50 per night per additional guest / room to cover additional linen and cleaning. Bedrooms and bathrooms not booked will be locked and unavailable for guest use.

We are pet friendly, with your furry friends catered for with bedding, toys, and treats in a fully enclosed yard.

Strictly no parties or extra guests permitted. We have security cameras at the front of the property that notify us of unusual activity and capture footage of people accessing the property.

Simply the best
Eight fairly fussy elder travellers fitted in this terrific 5 bed, 4 bathroom property with ease for a 5 night stay. It really is a gem. Tons of space to relax indoors and out, extremely well presented, kitted out and provisioned, very well maintained, pet friendly in need and located right on the Lady Bay links golf course. Perhaps best of all was the communication with the host and the numerous bits of information they provided to help us around the house, the area and McLaren Vale. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The home was presented immaculately, and had an excellent layout and plenty of space for our large group of golfers.Overlooking the 16th hole and green, and a short walk to the Links Lady Bay pro shop was the perfect location and setting.All the touches were spot on Best house we’ve had for our golf trips by far - will definitely be back again

Ludere is a wonderfully appointed house with everything you need for a terrific stay. The bedrooms are super comfortable, the views are amazing and the location on the golf course close to Normanville is fantastic. Loved everything

The home was everything you could ask for and more in a holiday rental. Super clean, lovely furniture, great beds, ever bedrooms had their own gorgeous bathroom, spectacular views and plenty of space for 4 families. Highly recommend for a group getaway.

Great family getaway
We had a fantastic stay at Ludere with extended family. We were a group of 8 adults and 4 children (12-17yrs) and the house was perfect for us. So spacious and well appointed, with everything we needed. The furniture and decor was lovely, and the extra touches (welcome basket, spreads and condiments, spare toiletries) made us feel so welcome and at home. There has already been talk of a return trip, but we all want to make it longer next time!

Annual golf trip
Our group 4 couples all retired, getogether for annual golf trip all around Australia, in our 10 trips this location and house is the best yet. The host is wonderful with quality bedding, extra amenities like nespresso coffee, plus so much more. Great golf courses on the Fleurieu Peninsal with Wineries not too far away. Your stay here will not disappoint.

Amazing house and location!
We had the best time at Ludere. It was the perfect location for a golf trip and to spend time with friends. The welcome basket was such a nice touch, and we had fun with the table tennis table too. Super pet friendly and everyone commented on what a beautiful house and property it is. Will be back for sure.

Wonderful place to stay. Carla had thought of every little detail to make sure we had a great time. We went over Christmas and it was a small family reunion. Loved the sunsets, kangaroos, watching golfers and Normanville beach is a gem. Good surf lifesaving club for lunch too. Highly recommend Ludere.

Perfect Getaway / Home Away From Home
Such a beautiful house, at a perfect location with amazing views. It has everything you need, comfy beds, lovely veggie patch at the back that we had access to, fire with the view is something special ❤️. Thy even go out of their way for the furry friends. The house is spotless, relaxing and suitable for everyone and would highly recommend staying here for your getaway!

Amazing extended family getaway
We chose to stay at Ludere with our extended family for a 40th birthday getaway and it did not disappoint! Plenty of space for the kids to play, while the adults relaxed and enjoyed the gorgeous views! Communication in the lead up to our holiday was amazing - Carla was quick to respond to any questions, super friendly and so helpful. We especially loved the attention to detail and little extra touches around the property. Can’t wait to come and stay again! ❤️

Highly recommend. The property was exactly as described on the website with plenty of supplies such as dishwashing tabs, glad wrap etc in the kitchen and plenty of crockery and cutlery. Good location within the Links Lady Bay golf course and close to Normanville beach. The hosts have been very helpful and communicative and provided a good compendium of instructions and local highlights. Easy entry procedure and large garage space.

Simply Amazing!
From the garden full of tomatoes, lemons, limes and fresh herbs, to the kitchen stocked with breakfast cereal. The house was amazing! Views of the golf course at the back and the ocean from the front. Multiple BBQs for use with all gas filled and ready to go. Host took the time to find out about the group so to be sure to make up the bedding arrangements accordingly. Great for families and groups. Would definitely be considering staying at Ludere again the future!

Great Stay
Great retreat for your family. The accomodation was very quiet and peaceful. It was comfortable and just a great place to relax with family, both human and animals. A special thank you for the complementary bottle of wine and chocolates – a lovely touch that added to our enjoyment. The beds were super comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed and more. We are thankful for Harrison’s eggs. Team Ludere is so considerable, and they made us feel truly warm and welcome. The location was excellent - it was close to many amenities. The house is cutely decorated. We really enjoyed the stay. We will definitely come back again soon!

Great location
We stayed at the Ludere house over June long weekend. Owner was very accommodating and quick to respond to any enquires before and after booking. House was in a quite area that was surrounded by nature. The owner went in to great detail to supply all linen, condiments, kitchen wraps, sofa stream, butter, some milk, some winter vegetables and the beautiful herb garden and lemon tree. It was easy to access laundry facilities if you wanna chuck a load on with powder supplied and sheets for dryer. Cleaning products and even a robovac and Dyson available for a quick once over. Thank you for the stay. We will definitely be back.

Awesome New Years stay at Ludere Normanville
Walked in the home and it was an amazing house - which felt like a retreat that we have never experienced before! Loved the views on both sides of the house. The presentation was spot on, including a nice touch with Xmas decorations! Every room was comfortable and had everything you needed. The design of the house is amazing, very unique! The toddlers and teenagers loved the entertainment including all types of outdoor activities and indoor, they loved playing hide and seek around the house! And most of all I quite enjoyed the electric blanket in the master bedroom which relaxed me at night when it was cool after a long day running after the kids! Thanks Carla for hosting your beautiful home and thank you for the welcome basket of goodies… it made us feel quite special! Definitely would love to come again in the near future! Highly recommend this beautiful holiday home!

Ludere the best retreat ever
I hate STAYZ for not allowing me rate more than 5 stars for the stunning property "the Ludere". The property has everything one would need, actually it had more than what one would imagine. Trust me book Ludere if you want a family gateaway or a small gathering for some special event. I booked Ludere for my wedding gathering and provided me with more than expectations . It is truely home away from home and beyond. The property is sureounded by stunning views of golfcourse and lake. You would witness the most beautiful sunset of your life. We were extremely lucky to have Carla as the host, she was so understanding and prompt to answer any questions. She is the best host I have come over yet. The house isn't just a house with furniture and furnishings it comes with a fully equipped kitchen, coffee maker dishwasher etc plus the dishwasher tablets detergent gloves dish clothes tea towels . The bathrooms come with prestige liquid soap, shampoo conditioner and towels galore. Like waking into a living functioning display house. Spotless clean and very comfortable with climate reverse cycle a/c. Dream laundry. Plenty of space to get away and guest privacy.
