Great spot!
Super convenient location for a great price in a nice area. The host was very communicative and clear with instructions. The shared bathroom situation did make it feel a bit like a college suite, but it was worth it for all the other benefits. Would recommend!

Hi I'm Australian with European heritage and a keen traveller when I'm not sailing on the beautiful Sydney Harbour. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to combine the two! I'm active in the yachting world here in Sydney and spend most of my time on the water.

Why they chose this property

Rushcutters Bay is so central to the city and to some fantastic restaurants and bars plus its a short walk to Sydney Harbour.

What makes this property unique

This is such a quirky little building and studio. Its caught the tail end of the art deco period and has some lovely features, as well as some more European features like shared bathrooms.

I'm doing some research at the moment to confirm why it was built and what it has been used for. The rumors are it was built for the railway workers back in the early 40's....but it's been hard to substantiate.
