A nice relaxing weekend
We came to the cottage to de-stress and spend time together (3 nights) and overall we had a great time. The surroundings of the cottage were so peaceful and going down to the river was nice. The neighbors seem very quiet. We also really enjoyed using the hot tub on the covered porch and the fact that we could bring our pup along.
I would suggest adding pictures on the listing since we weren't sure if it had a dining table ( it did) or a fire pit ( yes, but you pay them for what you use). It would be really nice in the summer.
The bathroom had a double sink which helped a lot. The kitchen was basic and had mostly everything you would need. Some things could use updating ( the fridge handle was missing, some flooring was not in great shape, there was no hood fan for the stove and we couldn't get the fireplace to work, also suggest they add a few more games/puzzles), but we also paid a very reasonable price. The hosts were very helpful and responsive to our questions/needs.. We would stay again, maybe in summer next time.
