Home away from home

Modern with all the comforts of home. Bedding was very comfortable, it is comparable to a 5 star resort. The place is tastefully decorated. Its good for 2 to 3 nights stay. The only draw back is there are no views. The beach is 5 min away and Karine was able to get us a pass as well as equip us with chairs, mats and beach umbrella. They were very gracious hosts. Thank you Karine and Mo

The perfect pied-à-terre to visit PEC & Presqu'île

The beautifully designed, generous space is so well thought out and fully equipped. Not one detail is overlooked or compromised on. From kitchen equipment and delightful hand soaps to beach towels and regional park passes; it's all ready to go and at your fingertips. The hosts were kind, thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed to simply focus on enjoying the stay. Thank you.

Relax time at "the Barns"

We all very much enjoyed our week stay at this unique VRBO. The location was close to everything while still being in a quiet country setting. Accommodations were nicely decorated, very spacious , and great ability to enjoy indoors and out. Thanks Karine and Norm for being great hosts and providing all the comforts of home.

A quiet place

Amazing place, quiet and clean, plenty of space, real fireplace to sit by on cold nights cuddled up with a book or your partner. Karine, the owner, is amazing, always there ready to help with whatever you may need. I will definitely return.

Perfect retreat

Terrific property with all the comforts of home (including Prime and Netflix on a huge TV!). We were in quarantine for the first two weeks of our stay and could not have asked for a better, more comfortable retreat with great, and very helpful, hosts. Rural location, but close to a small town that had everything we needed once we were free to leave the home.

Exceeded all expectations

I sought a clean, quiet, bright, spacious place away from the city with good wifi to work while self isolating after traveling abroad. This property offers all of that and more. Owners Karine and Norm are the kindest hosts I've ever met, providing vegetables from their garden, offering to shop for me, and serving me a delicious homemade Thanksgiving dinner - most appreciated while I couldn't be with my family for the holiday weekend. Their kind gestures truly warmed my heart. Thank you Mackenzies!
