Definitely a honeymoon-type experience

The property is very well located near two beaches and right next to Avenida Quinta (fifth avenue) which is the true hot spot for all of Playa Del Carmen. That location (of course) comes with a few challenges. The festivities of Avenida Quinta don't stop until 3:00 a.m. 7 days a week, and the restaurant across 24th street (calle 24) sounds like they are playing in our patio. And, the Senor Frog site less than a block away is incredibly loud most evenings. Now, having said that, we just put in our ear phones while going to sleep and slept very well.Also, having to put up with the noise was NOTHING compared to the location for access to beaches grocery stores, restaurants, and pick up points for tours to all the sites in the area.The kitchen and refrigerator was great, and the air conditioning worked very well. The "balcony" (patio) wasn't really much at all. It had no view and was just another sitting area that starred into the bedroom window of the apartment next door. I would have rather had a little more space "in" the apartment than the sitting area with no view.The roof top pool was very nice. We LOVED it! The exercise room was too small and the equipment looked like it hadn't been used for a while. And, the bathroom on the roof area did not function for the month we were there. The internet, washer and dryer, and televisions worked very well and gave us the opportunity to log in to our own accounts for our favorite channels (netflix, prime video, etc.)

Loved this property

I spent tons of time researching properties before finally settling on this one and boy was I NOT disappointed. Not only was the property as described we had such great communication with the owner and property manager. As others have said in their reviews the property just steps off of 5th ave so there is a lot of music coming from nearby restaurants that could be problem for a light sleeper, but it didn't bother us at all. The property was fully furnished with all you could need for a short- or long-term stay including plenty of linens. There is a great stock of beach and pool towels as well as blankets, extra sheets. AND great Wifi so a perfect location for remote working. We loved having access to the washer and dryer right in the unit and that detergent was on hand. This location is also in a perfect spot and near so much. A 10-minute walk from the bus and ferry station, minutes to the beach, and seconds to 5th ave. It could not be more perfectly located. Angela the property manager was beyond responsive when we had questions. We had a problem with the key late one night and she responded to our text within minutes and had someone out to fixed it immediately. Erin who I believe is the property owner and the one I communicated with via the app was also incredibly responsive and made the check in process easy and seamless. I received and welcome email days before arriving so I knew exactly what to expect and there was no stress. 10 out of 10!

Great location!

The location of this condo is right off 5th, where all the action is in Playa del Carmen. The condo itself was what we were expecting despite the confusion of trying to find it, even our taxi driver had no idea where it was with the directions provided. We even texted and called Angela, the Property Manager, no answer or response to assist us with finding the place. I finally got a hold of Erin and was able to get into the building. We had trouble finding the key for the condo itself and the elevator being out of service the entire time we were there was annoying and my husband just about passed out after carrying our luggage up the stairs! Not the way you want the first day of your vacation to be. Overall we enjoyed our stay and our vacation.

Perfect Playa Place

Excellent value. Great location. Perfect for a couple who don't need a lot of wasted space.Some might find it small; we found it intimate. The couple of issues that came up were dealt with quickly and efficiently so we had a trouble free stay. We had inadvertently created a problem but Angela quickly turned in into a non-problem. Some people have mentioned the music. We enjoyed it. Different genres, high quality artists and a fun dance party on the street for Boomers. We interacted with Erin, Angela and Andrea and they couldn't have been more helpful.

Spectacular, Beautiful, & Great location

Location was perfect!! Clean beautiful condo just steps from 5th Av. 2 things to be observed Music band is just across the street you can hear a bit … plays every day Steps on 5th floor by pool very very slippery dangerous- My husband slipped and hurt his back & twisted his ankle:( be careful! Over all the stay was spectacular!

Location , location, location. The building is in the heart of Playa del Carmen and Quinta Avenida. 5 mins from Mamitas Beach and within walking distance to everything.

If you plan on sleeping before 2 am, this is not the place for you

This is a clean, modern, and well-equipped condo. The rooftop pool area is nice, clean, and has a beautiful view of the ocean. It is a ten minute walk from a Walmart and several grocery stores. There is also an OXXO convenience store located just down the street. Now for the downside... if you plan on sleeping before 2am, this is not the location for you. We booked this condo based on several reviews stating that is was in a quiet area. Although the condo is not advertised as such by the property manager, we had been to Playa del Carmen several times and from our experience and the reviews, deemed this to be the quieter end of downtown's 5th Ave. 7 nights a week the live band at the bar across the street starts at 8pm and plays until 2am. You can't hear just a little bass, YOU CAN HEAR EVERY SINGLE WORD TO EVERY SONG and might as well be sitting in the bar, that's how loud it is. It gets even louder every time someone opens the front door of the building. I genuinely feel sorry for anyone who resides in this building full time. We did mention this to the property manager and she kindly offered to rectify the situation by moving us to another available property. So, my overall suggestion, book somewhere else and spare yourself the hassle.

Amazing condo & pool!!

We loved our stay at Skyline 24! The roof top pool is amazing - the view of the ocean is really nice. The condo is modern & clean. The location is great! The only thing we did not like was the balcony opens to an interior courtyard -so we took our drinks to the rooftop pool!

Surrounded by FUN!

Centrally located! Short walk to the beach, incredible bars and restaurants right outside the door and a gorgeous rooftop pool with a view! This was perfect for us! We didn’t need to take a cab the entire time. We’ll be back!

Great place.....

This condo was in a great location, I would have given it 5 stars but we had a few issues the first couple of days. The management company that was running the building decided they needed to do some testing on the buildings water pump. The first couple of days it was hit or miss if we had water or not. I need to give credit to the team at LLV reservations, they were in contact with the building manager every time there was an issue. Again it was only 2 days that we had issues, not problems the rest of our time there. The place was perfect for my husband and I, great location to the beach and 5th avenue. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it for a couple looking for a getaway.

Great Little Hideaway in the Heart of Playa

The Skyline building is located just off 5th Ave in Playa Del Carmen. The location is very handy to some very good restaurants, a 5 minute walk from the beach and Mamitas Beach Club. There is a wide variety of restaurants in the neighbourhood that offers a wide variety of world flavours, Apartment 204 is virtually sound proof. While 5th Avenue offers a wide variety of night life in the immediate area, you can sleep soundly in a very quiet bedroom in a comfortable king size bed. It has a very well stocked kitchen for making your meals and a large bathroom. It is also just a short walk to corner stores and fruit vendors. There is a great roof top swimming pool, with a beautiful skyline view both during the day and at night. I highly recommend this little hideaway.

Great location / value

LOCATION!!! How stoked I was to find this gem. One of the best locations in town and while this unit isn't huge, the bedroom (King bed) and bathroom, were very good size. Living area was adequate, which is fine because coming to Playa is NOT about staying inside! Like, 2 blocks from the beach and maybe 15 meters to 5th Ave (and @ 24th Street - great area). Rooftop pool was awesome. The unit is in the back side of this new development, so virtually no noise at night. Total score!

Perfect.

Wow, wow, wow. I cannot say enough good things about my stay here. The building is fantastic, the condo was beautiful. Location was amazing as well. Close to everything. No cabig or car needed at all. The company took care of my every need and promptly( and I mean really fast) returned emails answering any questions I may have had. 10/10 in my books. Already planning my return.
