This delightful property is nestled in the highly sought-after Ptarmigan Village community, located just over halfway up Big Mountain and only a few minutes from the lively downtown Whitefish, Montana.



With 678 square feet spread across two inviting levels, you’ll step inside to find a warm living space that has everything you need to relax and unwind. The comfortable sofa, wood-burning fireplace, and flat-screen TV make it the perfect spot to kick back after a day of adventure. Feel free to whip up delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen, which has all the appliances you might need.



On the main floor, you'll find a lovely updated bathroom stocked with fresh towels for your convenience. The bedroom, tucked away in the loft area, promises a peaceful night’s sleep with its cozy queen-sized bed and fresh linens. Plus, there’s a full bathroom for added comfort!



Don’t forget to enjoy the shared private deck, complete with outdoor seating—a perfect place to soak in the fresh mountain air. Just a heads up, there isn’t air conditioning in this unit, but that’s common in the area. If you have any questions or need specific information, our friendly reservation department is here to help! Parking is free and available for a maximum of two vehicles; If you have any oversized vehicles such as Motorcycles, trailers and RV's or need additional parking options for extra vehicles the Village does have room in our oversized parking areas. Please speak to our reservationist if you need assistance with parking options. 



Access to all of the great village amenities including access to the indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, outdoor pool, tennis/pickleball courts, Cutthroat trout stocked fishing pond, private beach area on Whitefish Lake and so much more. 



Ptarmigan Village is a spectacular location just two miles below the world-renowned Whitefish Mountain Resort ski area and a short 10-minute drive to downtown Whitefish, Montana.  This unique location features unrivaled access to all of the best that Whitefish has to offer and is less than 45 minutes to Glacier National Park. During the winter months Whitefish features some of the best skiing in North America. This skier’s paradise, which boasts legendary runs like Hell Roaring Basin, Home Again, Tree Trails, and Ptarmigan Bowl which have long been known for steep terrain and abundant snowfall and was once widely considered a playground for only the hardest charging skiers and dedicated adventurers. However, in recent decades it has been transformed. With expanded intermediate and beginner terrain and multiple new lifts, and runs the Whitefish Mountain Resort has evolved to meet the needs of skiers of all abilities with over 98 trails. In addition to all the runs National Ski magazine rated Whitefish Mountain Resort as the #3 place to in the entire country! When the snow melts Whitefish Mountain becomes a summer playground home to zip lines, alpine slides, hiking, biking and so much more. The greater Whitefish area has some of the best golfing, water sports, fishing, whitewater rafting, festivals and is the gateway to Glacier National Park. 



Ptarmigan Village is child friendly, but your furry four leged friends are not permited. We do however have an abundance of wildlife right outside your door to keep you company! Service dogs are permitted with notification and completion of proper paperwork prior to making the reservation. Montana does not recognize Emotional Support Animals as service animals, property owners are not required to accept ESA documentation. Guests traveling with ESA or Service animals are directed to call the Ptarmigan Rentals office to inquire.



Glacier Park International Airport is only about 20 minutes from Whitefish, Montana so getting here is easy!
