Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club is a distinctive family resort where guests enjoy close proximity to Disney World, Orlando theme parks such as Universal Studios and SeaWorld, as well as some of Central Florida’s best golf destinations. Condo 13201 great location… BUT……

Location of condo great, close to welcome center, activity center, pools, putt putt, tennis courts and golf course. Did not have correct last name at check in. Walk in shower nice but no shelves for soap or shampoo. No grap bar in case of falls Kitchen so so on supplies, but one drawer could not open all way as it hit oven door handle. Oven door did not open all way as 1/2 way open it hits cubboard door at sink.. means had to reach over hot door to place or remove food. Sink in kitchen very small. Resort has twenty eight dollars a day activities fee( which was not shared prebooking by VBRO only after deposit made) for things like putt putt, tennis, ping pong, pool towels and wifi which was VERY WEAK many times unable to send e mails. Could only have two items hooked to internet at one time. Complained about internet speed and told lots of people not happy. Was given phone number to call their WiFi provider to ask for reboot.. which if rebooted did not help! Very frustrating When checking out last name was not corrected.. even after 9 days. Sad situation

Not bad. Will return.

The check in was slow if you arrive after dark bc there's a gate to into & it's a large property. There was pressure at check in AND at check out for time share sales. But the rest was pleasant. Oh.... the kitchen was not well stocked to cook full sized meals. And no dishwasher. Pools were nice but could use cleaning of floating hair balls. Over all, I felt safe taking my family here and the price was fair. Location to Universal/ Disney wasn't far, maybe 15-20 mins. I suggest taking pics upon arrival and check out to prove you left the place clean bc the clean up fee is outrageous.

Beautiful, quiet resort

Totally enjoyed my stay here. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and accommodating. My unit was exceptional. The only suggestion I would make, would be to have more staff available for check ins, as the last thing I wanted to do after a long travel day, was wait in line for 45 minutes. Other than that, absolutely no complaints!

A good value, but no wow

This property was a mix. It was great in some ways, but lacking in many others. Great location if you are going for Disney, but the house was dated and the neighborhood was run-down. The layout was great. Lots of bedrooms and space for a large group. The kitchen had most of what we needed for a large family garhering, but thankfully we brought some of our own items as well. Our biggest complaints are that the place REALLY needs some minor updates and TKC. New pillows and towels are an inexpensive update and so appreciated. Also, while we defintitely went through a lot, there were NO extra items such as toilet paper, paper towels, gardage bags, dish soap, etc. Also, be aware that you pay extra to have the pool and hot tub heated. We did pay for this, but it didn’t work until the second day. We do intend to ask for a refund for the first day’s pool hearing cost. The pool door was broken, andrjepool area chair cushions in horrible condition.

A perfect location close to everything, but still peaceful!!

This condo was perfect. We were able to make breakfast before heading out to enjoy our days. Walmart is a short 5 minute drive for the necessities. Check in wa super easy and all of the staff was very helpful. Would definitely recommend anyone coming to the area to stay here. And the amenities are amazing!!!

Not as advertised

The resort property is beautiful, clean and well manicured. Check In was smooth and easy. There are people who try to offer welcome packages to get you on a tour but a “no thank you” is understood. The room itself was a room with no windows or balcony. So no natural sunlight at all. You can hear neighbors pretty good. The kitchen area had a two burner stove and a mini fridge. The door has a wide crack to where you can see outside which makes sense why ants/and ants eaters were coming in. I messaged the owner and never got a response back. Very small not much room to chill and relax. I would only book again if I don’t plan on being there much which this stay was just a relaxing trip so very un-enjoyable. When you book through VRBO it’s considered booking third party so they stick you in the least maintained condo. That’s my take! Don’t look for a full kitchen cause you may or may not get it!

Good value. Disappointed we had neither patio or balcony to sit outside.

Pools are great. Location away from Kissimmee/Orlando hub which is a olus. Should have requested a room with screened patio or balcony. No where to sit outside unless you park a lawn chair on the front lawn or hike to pools.

Just ok.

There was nothing particularly wrong with the unit or our stay, and for the price it was very fair. But it certainly wasnt a place we spent much time. We would rather have a place that truly felt comfortable enough to relax on the days we were not in the parks. Instead, we just planned around it and went places. Again, that is NOT a bad thing, just not place to relax if that is what you are looking for.

Great stay!

Very easy to book and check in. Our room was very clean and well taken care of. We needed a pack and play for our two year old, so we called the front desk, and within 30 minutes, we had a brand new pack and play delivered to our room. We will definitely stay here again.

Must stay!

We have stayed at this resort in the past Ann's it never disappoints. We originally booked a 1 bedroom and were upgraded to 2 as there were no more available. The unit we stayed in was amazing! We will return again and would recommend this to anyone. Also this resort is only a few minutes to parks

Second Stay at Mystic Dunes

Not my first time here, but I am just as impressed as last time. My one complaint is that the room I was in for my last stay seemed more kept up than the room from this stay. In this room there a several minor thing that could be fixed to make the overall look of the room better. Also, this room seems to lack a bit of soundproofing that my last room had - not sure why I can hear all the plumbing! Even with these things I would definitely stay here again.

Close to Disney, pretty, quiet

Our 1 bedroom condo was spacious and clean. The property was well landscaped and very pretty. It was so much better than I expected considering the price. I think they wanted to sell us a timeshare but we never picked up the "welcome packet", "free gift" or "free vacation" that we were offered.

Very nice property

Beautiful grounds, Nice pools, employees very nice, and well appointed room. Stayed multiple times. Would get rid of welcome packet at check in. Just a come on to get the guests to sign up for a time share presentation. They do understand the words "No thank you," though.
