This first-floor, two-bedroom apartment is just a one-minute stroll from the Gold Coast beach and perfectly located halfway between Surfers Paradise’s Cavill Avenue and Broadbeach. With only a 15-minute walk to each, you’ll enjoy easy access to an array of eateries, bars, and shops.
The Space:
Enter the apartment into a corridor leading to an open plan kitchen/living/dining room with vertical blinds to control the light flow. The kitchen comes equipped with a 4-burner electric cooktop, an under-bench electric oven, microwave and double sink. A wide servery connects the kitchen to the carpeted dining area, offering a round glass table and 4 chairs. The living space, also carpeted, has a 3-seater sofa and 2-seater sofa, both in Nappa suede, a Smart TV, coffee table, electric heater and portable fan. A door leads off the living area to a balcony overlooking the apartment building’s leafy back yard.
There are 2 carpeted bedrooms, both with ceiling fans, mirrored built-in wardrobes and vertical blinds. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and an occasional chair, while the second bedroom comes with a double bed. The apartment’s combined bathroom/laundry has a roomy shower recess with a frameless glass screen, 2 sinks, a front loader Fisher & Paykel washing machine and dryer, the actual toilet being in a separate room next to the bathroom.
The Neighborhood:
Well located, the apartment is literally a 1 minutes’ walk from the Gold Coast beach, and an easy walk to the eateries and shops in Surfers Paradise’s Cavill Avenue or Broadbeach, both only 15 minutes on foot. If you prefer to dine in, there’s a ‘Pitstop’ supermarket just down the road, or an IGA supermarket 13 minutes’ walk away. The Sydney Hamilton Family park, a minute’s walk from the apartment, offers barbecue facilities, picnic tables, showers and a small playground. A little further away you’ll find the Northcliffe Surf Club, boasting an award-winning restaurant in an absolute beachfront location, along with a café that’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A host of Gold Coast attractions are a short drive away, including the Star Casino, Convention & Exhibition Centre, Unique Infinity Funhouse and Dracula’s Cabaret. Sea World is 12 minutes away by car, with Warner Bros Movie World and Dreamworld just a little further north. Feel like a break from the sun? Take a drive into the Gold Coast hinterland's lush forests for hiking or wine-tasting.
Getting Around:
The apartment comes with its own dedicated security car space but if you prefer public transport, there are bus stops a few minutes’ walk from the apartment with services into Surfers Paradise in one direction and Broadbeach on the other. It is also only a 4 minute walk to the Northcliffe light rail station, offering services traveling south to the Star Casino, Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre and Pacific Fair shopping centre. If you head north on the light rail, it will take you all the way to Helensvale where you can access the theme parks, such as Movie World, Dream World and Wet ‘N’ Wild. Here you can also change to the sky train to Brisbane City and Brisbane Airport.
Other Things to Note:
* Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.
* Due to strict noise policies in strata buildings and Australian council by-laws, guests must avoid making loud noise, particularly between the hours of 10 pm – 8 am. Please understand that guests who break this rule may be evicted and financial penalties may also apply, depending on the circumstances.
* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.
* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.
*If you are eligible for a full refund as per our cancellation policy, a processing fee of $50 still applies.
*After check-in, if you choose to shorten your stay, you will receive a 50% refund of the unused nights of your booking.
