Great place and accommodations. Everything was as advertised. Some great local beaches close by and many amenities within a 30 minute drive in any direction. We will be back!
This cottage is in a beautiful and quiet area of the island. There was a fantastic restaurant just a couple of minutes walk away. There are great beaches in the area that do not require a national park pass. It is close to Kensington, where there is a lovely pub and a bakery/coffee shop. It is a short drive to other communities like Stanley Bridge and to Cavendish.
The Cottage itself is small, but comfortable and well equipped. There is a small deck that is shady in the afternoon.
My partner and I had a great stay at Harbour Lights Cottages. The cottage was clean and the perfect size for two people. It was cutely decorated and had everything you need in a cottage: comfy bed and furniture, outdoor eating area, fire pit, and pretty views of the site and surrounding areas. It was also a great location, only 15 minutes from Cavendish! Only thing missing from our cottage was a frying pan, but we survived :)
It was the vacation I needed and at the place I needed. It was just what I had in mind. I only wish I could have stayed longer. The owners were very accommodating.
We stayed in one of the cottages for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. Our hosts we fantastic! Great communication, provided spotlessly clean accommodation and so friendly. Would highly recommend this location to anyone - families, couples and solo travelers alike. Lots of parking, lots of greenery and quaint living space really allows for a relaxing experience.
The cottage itself has recently been renovated and everything is in solid working order. A nice powerful shower with ample hot water compliments the well equipped kitchen and living area. Tv, wifi and air conditioning also enhanced our experience and we can’t wait to go back.
Highly recommended!!
