Romantic 1890s Abode - Special Event Accommodation
Take a step back in time in this beautifully appointed 1890's cottage. The venue has been tastefully decorated, paying homage to the period it was built, whilst having all the mod cons to make your stay cozy and relaxing.
The venue makes an ideal abode for wedding accommodation, that special event, or just to escape reality for a time and get lost in those old world vibes.
The evergreen gardens are great for a stroll, photography or even some yard games that are on hand. Or simply just be!
The space
The Stane Dyke - An 1890's Heritage Cottage

The space features all you would expect of a home of this period, you will not be disappointed and this will be a journey back in time not to be forgotten.
- An amazing main bedroom featuring 4 post bed, for those special occasion vibes, a full length mirror, wedding dress hook, hanging space and lovely views out to the garden whilst laying in bed.
- The second bedroom is wonderfully decorated, with period pieces, and is well catered with a queen bed for the couple or members of the bridal party.
- The bathroom is simply spectacular with the original restored bathtub, copper curtains rails, timber paneling, slate floor and decorating that fits the theme to the letter... oh and a heater for those cold nights.
- The kitchen is a photo opportunity in it's own right, with the original stove still on hand as a show piece, accompanied by a modern stand alone industrial stove, built in fridge, coffee machine, plus more and the accompanying butlers pantry/laundry with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and plenty of other conveniences.
- The main living room is home to the original fireplace and the home also has convenient gas heating for instant warmth and electric heaters in all other rooms to ensure your stay is a toasty one. This space also has a TV.
- The dining/lounge room has ornate pendant lights, a timber dining table, a double sofa bed in the corner and a TV in case a back up is required.
- The front porch is one of the most special spaces in the home, with spectacular views of the Illawarra escarpment, a lounge, a BBQ and a tranquil outlook over Stane Dyke Park.
