This is our third time staying here, we love it. The location is perfect and while it’s right in town, it feels so secluded. Beautiful scenery and a functional cottage is all we need!
Somehow in the middle of things and yet quiet. The location was very convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed and we appreciated having two different living areas as well as the outside back yard. One bathroom worked surprisingly well for 4 adults! A very pleasant vacation.
Have stayed at cottage 3 times now to attend Bancroft Curling Bonspiel. Perfect location and accommodation for the 4 of us, each getting our own bedroom.
All aspects of accommodation met our needs as it is a cozy comfortable place and the host Jesse was very easy to communicate with and answer any questions we had.
Will definitely stay here again.
We come out for the tall pines rally every year, this cottage was in a great location in town, while being a large property. Worked well for two couples and our 3 combined kids.
My wife and our teenaged son spent an enjoyable week at this secluded cottage right next to downtown. The cottage is roomier inside than it appears from the outside and could easily accommodate a group of 4 couples. Large property allowed us to play games like Bocci ball and croquet. Back door opens right on the the river where we could swim and use our SUP. Besides the Tim Hortons literally next door, downtown Bancroft is about a 10 minute walk away with numerous little shops. Just go early… the whole town basically closes at 4pm. We went hiking to the Eagle’s Nest and at Egan Chutes and biked on the 190 km trail that goes through the middle of town. We made a day trip to Algonquin Park, which is close by. We also took in a show at the local village playhouse. We did need to contact the owners once and they were at the cottage within 45 minutes and were pleasant and friendly to deal with. In all our stay was a great way to close out the summer of 2023.
Nice to be close to town, we enjoyed swimming in the river and having a fire and having an otter visit us close by.
Lots of places to lounge in the house
The place is exactly what e expected. Perfect spot for a little getaway. Jesse was wonderful, and was always around if anything was needed! Would definitely go back
Would recommend! Great location! It's in town, but feels private and secluded. The river is on two sides of the cottage. Very good restaurants only a few minutes away.
We reaally loved staying at Jasse's place,
The town was lovely, the nature around was amazing, lots of fun things to do in the area and least but not last, Tim Horton is right behind the cottage LOL
This cottage was cozy and inviting, Jesse was very accommodating, helpful and friendly! The property was beautiful and still secluded although right downtown, I will definitely be considering this place again for future getaways!
