Stories Beach Surf House

The Blue House with all it’s 1980s charm is just steps away from the Beach. This place is all about the view, you can’t get much closer to the ocean. Located south of Campbell River in Stories Beach where the locals love to go to surf on the stormy days and play in the sand on sunny days. The Blue house is right off the “old” Island highway. The house isn’t perfect and has its quirks, but is there any better place then the beach?

Very nice property
Stayed two nights. Right on the water with outstanding views to the south east. Great sunrise. Very nice and clean property. Well stocked. Host was very good at communicating. Really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to families and multiple couples.

Was awesome!! Host was very nice to talk to and responded quickly to questions. Was very accommodating to all our needs/wants. Enjoyed our stay here very very much. Within 3 days we saw 10 cruise ships go by…..amazing!! Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for everything. 10 out of 5 stars!!

Leider waren wir nur 2 Tage vor Ort! Alles hat bestens geklappt, Sehr gut eingerichtetes Haus! Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt 👍 Die Straße hört man wirklich, aber mit geschlossenen Fenstern war es kein größeres Problem! Danke

Can't beat the location - on the beach!! Was very comfortable for the 5 of us, kitchen well stocked with anything and everything we needed.

Million dollar view
We found the highway traffic noisy at night. But the sunrises were worth it. The yard is rustic and the beach is rocky unless low tide, but the Patio and large picture windows give you all the beach view you need. Furniture comfortable and the kids toys were appreciated by the 4 and 5 year old. Espresso machine with all the fixings was nice to have. Would recommend just for the view.

awesome beach house
we really enjoyed our stay…Stephanie was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful and available for whatever questions we had. We were so impressed entering the house…a true breezy seaside escape…beyond what we were expecting from the pictures. The house was clean, well layed out and very clean up to date furniture. We spent most of our time enjoying the view from the deck or living rooms and enjoyed nice dinners and bbq. We were able to cook and enjoy the food and drinks we bought since the kitchen and dining area were very accommodating and well equipped. The auto grind espresso machine was a bonus. The bedrooms were spacious. clean and slept better than probably any hotel. We hope to back sometime!

Spectacular views
The location was special with views of the water and local wildlife. Well located for regional activities. Cooked each evening in the stocked kitchen. The host, Stephanie, was knowledgeable, responsive and really nice. Accommodated our family of 5 really nicely. Would rent again!
