Thunderbird Farm is a private newly imagined and fully renovated 1890’s farmhouse. This 73-acre property is surrounded by a 60-acre working farm and backs onto the Trans Canada Trail plus is in close proximity to many towns and amenities. Enjoy scenic views of farmland, forestry and a small creek plus experience farm fresh eggs, daily encounters with chickens, playful Pigmy Goats, adorable Babydoll sheep and gentle Alpacas.*

This luxury farmhouse is designed to be your home away from home with a little touch of whimsy.
Enjoy practical functionality with luxury design. The 1st floor features a full kitchen with a walk-in pantry, a coffee wet-bar, a main floor 3-piece bathroom, a large living room with a TV and a pull-out couch (which can sleep 2 additional guests), games room (the “parlour”), 4-season sunroom and dining spaces.

The 2nd floor houses 3 bedrooms (2 of which include their own 2-piece ensuites), a main 4-piece bathroom with a modern clawfoot soaker tub and large shower. There is also a dedicated laundry room.
The 3rd floor features 2 bedrooms, a 4-piece bathroom plus a lounge which can act as flex space and includes a Keurig coffee machine, beverage fridge, TV and a sectional (which can sleep 2 overnight guests). In total this house can accommodate 14 overnight guests!

Spend your days exploring the surrounding area and towns, relax in and around the farmhouse, hang with the animals, play games and activities, or even work remotely.
Some of the outdoor amenities include an in-ground pool and hot tub, decks, a fire pit and BBQ (with pizza oven). Plus, there are a few fun surprises along the way. Find tranquility from scenic views as well as comfortable thoughtful décor.

*Farm animal encounters and care:
Renting this home, you will have the opportunity to experience caring for the Chickens, Goats, Sheep and Alpacas! The animals are low-maintenance. Their care is fairly basic and would include letting them in and out of their pens and pastures (morning and night) plus providing them with their food and water once or twice a day.
