Converted Barn made into a beautiful 2 bedroom retreat overlooking Lake Ontario
Lakeside retreat with stunning sunsets. Luxurious furnishings and setting....all the amenities of home...5 star ratings and all the comforts. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space on the lake. This home was once a barn built in the 1800’s and housed the family’s horse. In 2022/23 I converted it into a uniquely stylish retreat with two bedrooms and two full baths. In addition there is a chefs kitchen to die for with high end appliances and finishes. The living room and dining room are very well appointed with high end furniture. There is both a front and back patio for you to enjoy the views.

My husband and mother-in-law travel to this property as a homebase while relocating. They couldn’t say enough about it. Great location and a beautiful home.
Everything about our stay was wonderful. Incredible views, walks along the lake, comfortable home with more than everything we needed and great hospitality! I look forward to coming back!
Lovely barn conversion, beautifully decorated. Could've been cleaner, to my standards, toilet seat upstairs needs attention (very loose)also the stairs, safety hazards.
We had a great time other than that.
Thanks Anne Marie

Beds are terrible
Property is beautiful, no doubt of that. It’s quiet and on the outskirts of town. Too far to walk to dinner or for coffee. They charge a cleaning fee so I was surprised to find dirty dishes in the dishwasher and someone else’s rubbish in the bin. Fridge also needs wiping out. The main issue though is the beds. Perhaps they ran out of money when it came time to buy beds and bedding, but new pillows are definitely in order as well as proper fitting bedding and beds. The beds are cobbled together frames, box springs and mattresses. Both beds are very high which won’t suit everyone. One bed is covered in a 3” thick down topper covered with a well worn very thin sheet that is too small so only goes halfway down the mattress and peels off when you move. So thin, you can feel the feathers poking you while you’re trying to sleep. But it’s far too soft. The other bed is very high and quite hard. Also ill fitting sheets. Sleep is the priority in a rental so put some cash into the bedding!

Why they chose this property
I chose this neighborhood because of the stunning sunsets over Lake Ontario. The view changes daily and never disappoints. Also, you are approximately 20 minute walk to the beach and fabulous restaurants or less than a 5 minute drive.
What makes this property unique
I believe my property stands out because of the stunning location, the views and the high end finishes.
