Ridge on Sedona, a Hilton Vacation Club, is located in the Village of Oak Creek, in Sedona, by the red rock buttes and canyons of the area. The attractions of Sedona are a 15-minute drive away, Enjoy a round of golf on the adjacent 18-hole golf course, or work up a sweat at the fitness center. Relax in one of the heated pools or whirlpool spas, schedule a massage in town, explore the city or the nearby state parks, or book a hot air balloon ride to see it all from above. However you choose to spend your time, you'll find relaxing and entertaining amenities at every turn.

Recharge comfortably in our cozy one bedroom suite with king bed. The separate living area features a TV with DVD player, balcony, queen sofabed, and dining table. The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, coffeemaker, microwave, toaster, plus utensils. The bathroom offers a bathtub and separate shower. Sleeps 4.

At time of check-in, a valid government-issued photo identification is required and must match the guest name under which the reservation was made, credit card for $200 USD security deposit and a nightly rate of $25 plus tax resort fee* will be required at check in. The deposit must be made on a major credit card - cash and pre-paid debit cards are not accepted.

Way Better than Pictures!

We were very satisfied with the location of this property far enough away from busyness of town but close enough we could drive in 15 minutes! Very impressed with size of the condo and bathroom!!!!!

Efficient check in - bordered on rude

We stayed at this resort from 2/19 - 2/22/22. The check in process (pre check in and finally check in) was so efficient it bordered on rudeness. At pre-check in we were told that we would be notified when the rental was available. We were not. The agent at pre-check in was robotic in her instructions to us, speaking quickly in an obvious attempt to get through the process.. When picking up the keys to the property at 4 PM the agent spent most of the interaction with us trying to sell us on vacation club options. She did make reservations for us at a local restaurant which we appreciated. We were told the pool was heated to 84 degrees - it was not. We had no ice in our complex. The place that we rented, while very nice, had a leak in the kitchen sink so severe that we did dishes in the bathroom sink. Nice property but staff did not seem genuinely concerned about customer's experience. Probably will not be back.

Golf resort outside of downtown with large rooms and nice amenities. 7 miles from downtown but close trail access. Late check-in times. Ground floor 1 bedroom unit.

We had a wonderful time but the unit could have been cleaned better

This unit is in a great location with easy access to all that Sedona has to offer! The only reason I am giving it less than 5 stars is because we found toenail clippings on the bathroom floor upon arrival (which is really disgusting) and the toilet hadn't been cleaned.

Maintenance Problems

Facts: 1. The dishwasher was completely dead and a half-used detergent packet was all over the inside. I called them about it and the dishwasher was already known to be dead with a new one on order. 2. The bedroom window was severely broken from a golf ball hit and had been taped up with clear tape. Broken glass was still laying on the outside sill and on the ground. In other words, no one had bothered to clean it up. I called them about this and the window was known to be broken and due to be fixed sometime in the future. 3. The bathtub didn't drain well, so it was the classic standing in water during a shower you get at a cheap motel. Apparently, no one had noticed this during their "enhanced cleaning" process they advertise on VRBO. I called them and they came and cleared the drain. 4. The hot tub within walking distance of our unit (without having to walk out on the road to the other tubs) was broken, empty, and collecting leaves. Apparently, the daily resort fee --- that is charged in addition to the VRBO price --- isn't enough to make fixing the tub a top priority. 5. The hot water handle in the bathroom was leaking water all over the bathroom counter. It had been this way for a while because there were calcium deposits. Their cleaning and maintenance processes apparently had never noticed it. Opinions: 1. The Ridge at Sedona has trouble with maintenance, and I don't think they should have been renting out this unit with the problems described above. 2. For the price of the unit and the extra resort fee, this lack of attention to maintenance is very poor. 3. Beyond the problems above, the unit was otherwise nice except that it was downstairs and very dark. In sunny Arizona, you had to have lights on during the day, kind of like in a cave. If you must go here, ask for an upstairs unit. 4. The arm-twisting to sell you stuff (excursions, properties) when you check in was very annoying.

Excellent location!

The apartment was cozy and perfect for our stay in Sedona. It is equipped with some basics, dishes, dish and laundry soap, sponge, coffee and a few filters. The unit was clean besides a few unsightly stains on furniture and the shower curtain was screaming to be changed. Outside of that, everything was perfect! Soft bed, and the all the linens were clean. I didn’t have to perform my usual ritual on washing linens before using them. We will definitely recommend this place. Avoid the concierge desk if at all possible. The young man was a bit pushy about sharing what I can imagine is a time share tour for the property. I politely declined and then had to sort of just walk away. I don’t know why…..I guess some people just don’t hear “No thank you.”

This location is rundown on the inside.

We checked into our unit and started hearing something unusual. Water was dripping from the ceiling and at the wall above the sliding doors. There was a covered patio so wouldn't expect a leak. Called to inform reception & had to asked to be moved to a non leakingunit. They actually expect us to stay in the unit. Maintenance had come & where aware of the issue & brought a handful of bath towels to lay down. Very disappointed & would not stay at a Diamond Resort via VRBO.
