About this property

Large Lakefront property with spectacular unobstructed views of Lake Harmony (has been quoted by previous guests as the best on the Lake). Our rustic 4 bedroom, 2.5 Bath home has been updated and is ready for your arrival. Many lovely meals can be prepared and enjoyed on the outdoor deck with access to a Family size Weber Gas Grill. Enjoy a fun-filled day with free access to 3 kayaks, canoe and paddle board (life vests included) from our lakefront dock, as well as horseshoes, cornhole and a sweet Little Tikes turtle sandbox. Water skiing & raft riding are available with the amazing Captain Rob of Lake Harmony Watersports. For those wanting more adventure, many hiking and biking trails, white water rafting and tubing are available in nearby Jim Thorpe. For the little ones, Kalahari & Camelback (less than 30 minutes away) are 2 of the best water parks in the Northeast according to USA Today. Golf is also within 10 minutes at the beautiful Jack Frost National Golf Club or Split Rock Resort. Indoor fun continues with DVD's, board games, foosball, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Arcade Game, puzzles, books and Cable TV. There's six restaurants within 10 minutes and many more within 20 minutes. After a day of fun, spend time relaxing with family and friends around the lakefront fire pit while enjoying the beautiful sunset. Access to property is by private road in front of house.

Amazing lake side property for our multigenerational family for a long weekend

Beautiful, picture setting right on Lake Harmony. Very clean rustic cabin like feel with modern amenities. We loved tying the rafts we brought to the dock and laying on the lake, watching the waters, skiers and boaters. Fire pit for s’mores at night, outdoor dining on the deck when we grilled one night. Ate at two local restaurants which were less than a five minute drive from the house. Absolutely recommend this house and would stay here again if and when we choose to visit Lake Harmony again. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views overlooking the lake perfect photo ops for teenagers and young adults. 5 star property and friendly accommodating owner.

Deer, chipmunk and bear oh my!

Our visit to Lake Harmony was the perfect end of summer family trip for us and our adult children. We stayed for the long Labor Day weekend and enjoyed every moment-wish we could have stayed longer! The cabin is comfy, cute and well stocked with all we needed. Check in and out could not have been easier. We enjoyed sitting by the dock, kayaking, paddle boarding, floating, fishing and enjoying the local wildlife. Deer, chipmunks, bald eagles and even a bear. Please remember to watch wildlife from a safe distance. We had a bear walk down the street in front of the cabin Sunday evening and were able to observe safety from the front deck. The bear seemed used to people but it is still a wild animal. We were dismayed by the amount of people who were closely following the bear in cars, golf carts, bikes and on foot. It would be a shame if the bear had to be put down because people don’t respect it’s personal space. We spent most of our time at the cabin and on the lake but Hawk Falls and Boulder Field are close and worth the drive.

Great Location

This home was an amazing rental. The owner very nice and communicates great with any questions. The property has its own dock with kayakes and canoe kids loved going out on kayakes each day and canoe. We also used the fire pit also right on water by your own private dock. Would definitely rent again !!!

Last minute getaway

Our family of 5 had just gotten back from a beach trip that was a total bust, so we needed a do-over getaway before school started! This lake house was perfect. It is a lakefront property with just a tiny private road to cross to get to a private dock, fire pit and grassy area. Lake is shallow in this particular spot so great for the kids. SUP, kayaks, and canoe (and life jackets) was provided which we got good use out of. Lots of chairs provided around fire pit. The view of the lake from the house is great. The house was very clean (including the grill which was nice). The nice thing about this house was it has a super rustic, cabin-like vibe and decor, but with modern stuff like a dishwasher, washer/ dryer, cool video game for the kids, and multiple TVs. We had our dinners on the deck looking out on the lake. During our 4 night stay we did Kahlahari water park, Boulder Field, Hickory Run waterfalls and trails, huge antique barn, and Jim Thorpe scenic train ride through Lehigh Gorge all were under a 30 minute drive. Host was super responsive, friendly and checked in to see if we needed anything. Great place!

Relaxing Stay

Even though we didn't have the best weather for being by the lake, we really enjoyed the house, views and deck. Nothing was lacking in the house, beds were quite comfy, and views were spectacular, with sunrise out the big front windows downstairs and up!

Awesome Thanksgiving Getaway Take 2

This is the second year we have rented the cabin for the Thanksgiving holiday and it was as good as it was the first time. The house is immaculate and the owner has a keen attention to detail! The sunrises are beautiful and you can’t beat the crackling stone fireplace at night. Thanks Bill for another great family memory!

Enjoyed our stay

The house was in a perfect location on the lake. We enjoyed watching the lake's activities......jet skiiers, paddle boards, canoes, moterboats etc. from the dock and shoreline. My only wish would have been that the water was deeper off the dock for myself and the adults . But I have to say that it was perfect for the younger children in our group and the sandy bottom there was much appreciated by all. The house was well equiped with beautiful comfortable furniture and games in the basement for the kids.

Best view on the lake!

Loved this place! The layout of the house was perfect for our party. It had a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, amazing views and a spectacular deck for relaxing after a day of tubing and skiing on the lake. The host was gracious enough to assist me with contacting VRBO when I screwed up my final payment and needed to sort out the mess I'd made. He was patient and worked with me. Thank you for that, Bill. We look forward to going back in the future.

It’s all about the view!

There were only 3 staying here and the view kept us there! The waterfront dock with kayaks, patio bbq and comfortable living space was heaven! Many memories at Lake Harmony that we shared with our 20 other family members staying around the lake. Wonderful location and cabin!

Relaxing and lovely stay!

This was a beautiful and very clean home! Location on the lake was great and convenient. We were two families of four with kids ages 10-15. The lower level was perfect for them and we had plenty of space for all of us. The views were beautiful from the home! We love to cook and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We had a wonderful time. The owners were very nice, helpful, and easy to contact. Thank you for our stay!

Lake Vacation

This house was exactly what we were looking for in our Lake Harmony vacation. It is in a great location with the perfect view of all lake activities. The house was very clean and just the right size for us. It had everything we needed to feel right at home. In fact, our Granddaughter said she wanted this house to be her home. My Family, including our Granddaughter, would recommend this house to others.

Lovely house on the lake

This home is very nicely located and appointed, all you can ask for. Steps away from the lack with a nice private dock and canoe/kayaks, fire pit, deck with grill overlooking the lake, and lovely interior space with lake views. Everything is crystal clear, labeled with instructions, and well thought out. Nice for families. Highly recommended!

Great rental location!

We have rented many houses from the shore to the mountains and this was by far one of our favorites! From the cleanliness to scenic views, this place did not disappoint. We cooked a Thanksgiving meal and appreciated the well provisioned kitchen (including sharpened knives) to the thoughtful turkey centerpiece. Thanks Bill for a great family memory!

Cozy Cabin For The Fall

The cabin is much nicer then it even looks in the pictures, it feels very rustic and cozy but everything is very new and clean. The view of the lake from the first floor is unbelievable. We utilized the outdoor fire pit on a chilly and cloudy fall day, it was so relaxing! The location is very close to all the restaurants/bars Lake Harmony has to offer. Host is very responsive and helpful. Would love to return in the Summer!

Beautiful views of the lake

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, well taken care of. We stayed there in October to see the fall foliage, which was beautiful. The deck was sunny in the mornings. We even had a visit from a deer family. It was quiet and there are great restaurants options nearby.
