Steps from Big Little Lies Filming location , and less than 30 steps from Lover's Point Beach and the Peninsula's scenic bike path is where you will find this charming and cozy beach house - vaulted open-beam ceilings, wood burning stove, and Honduras mahogany wood floors in the kitchen are just a few of the amenities. The three bedrooms are beautifully decorated and each have queen beds. There are two additional twin beds in the family room. There are two full bathrooms. The beautiful open kitchen, which includes a gas stove, will make anyone feel like a master chef!

This home has ample space to relax by the window seat and read a book or have coffee on the patio in the morning. Cable and WiFi will keep you connected and provide ease in planning your day-to-day trips.

There is off street parking for 2 cars on the cobble stone driveway and oversized single car garage.

The upstairs/downstairs floor plan makes it perfect for families and couples to gather. Upon entering the house on the first level there is a master bedroom with sliding glass doors leading out to a small patio in a fenced in backyard. There is laundry room, as well as, an additional bonus living area with two futons and a flat screen TV. The downstairs suite along with the upstairs having 2 bedrooms, a bath, and great room with TV, fully equipped kitchen, and eating area is perfect for 2 families traveling together with kids, allowing each family to have their own space, or a 3 generational family with grandparents, 3 couples traveling together or up to 6 singles.

Lover's Point is one of the few wind protected beaches in the area and is a great swim play beach for children as the cove is protected. Town is just 1-1/2 blocks away to heart of Pacific Grove.

Pacific Grove offers endless activities within walking distance - walk to the beach, walk to the many restaurants and coffee houses, or do some shopping downtown.

Property and location were great. It was worrisome prior to check in as to what the procedure was website said they would contact us 24 hours before to let us know what the procedure was for checking in period we didn’t hear from them until that morning, which was kind of worrisome and stressful

Great place

The house was great, we only stayed 2 nights but had no complaints because we were to busy walking/riding the trails and weren't in the house much. I would rent this place again!! It was very clean which for me is the number 1 priority, beds were comphy

Nice stay

Overall nice stay. the house is in an amazing location. It is a bit dated and I feel needs updating but is clean and well kept. The kitchen is well stocked. There were only 2 rolls of toilet paper and when I texted the response was not great.

Fabulous location

Loved how close this was to the beach area. Beds were super comfy and kitchen well equipped. Since we only had one car, the garage worked great for us as the street is always pretty full and super narrow! Liked the keyless entry which made it easier. So many things to do that are close by that it's hard to choose.

Fell in love with Lover's Point

Just steps from Lover's Point, Pacific Grove. Probably one of the most picturesque spots in the area with a protected swim beach, coffee, food, rentals, and a short, cliffside walk Into a Monterey Aquarium and Cannery Row. There's even a quick stop on the way to see the harbor seals. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, updated, spacious and perfectly appointed. Plenty of towels for the home and beach. All the beds have memory foam mattresses and high-quality linens. Best night sleep I've had in a while. The kitchen is perfect for preparing any level of cuisine including a gas grill which was immaculate and ready to use. The dining area is very comfortable and spacious. There is a cozy living room on the second floor, and another cozy sitting area on the first floor which were wonderful for relaxing in the evening.The hosts, Larry and Megan have equiped the house with everything you could possibly need. Communication was plentiful and check in and check out were effortless. Overall, the home and location enhanced the fun, relaxation and connections we had on our visit. We would eagerly rent this property again for a return visit to Pacific Grove.. Thanks again Larry and Megan.

Location location location

Very spacious 3 bedroom 2 bath house. It had great amenities for the kitchen and bathroom. Pacific Grove Beach was a small walk and had great adventures for everyone. Highly recommend renting this gem.

Small Family Weekend Trip

Check in process was cumbersome. I printed, signed, scanned the first form that was sent to me- (I had to redo with another form, they failed to fill out our totals.) Electronic DocuSign would streamline the process. Overall check in communication was lacking. All that aside, the house was nice. Beds were comfortable. The full description could be updated to adequately inform you that the kitchen has a keurig and not a traditional coffee pot as pictured. There were no kcups provided. The upstairs tub did not have a stopper, it was frustrating going downstairs and back up at bedtime with little ones. The location was perfect. It was a quick easy walk to the beach even with little ones. A lot of neat things to see nearby.

Exceeds expectations!

This place was the perfect choice for 3 adults in separate bedrooms. Each bedroom is so attractive and spacious that we didn't need to flip a coin over who got what room - everyone was happy. Beds are extremely comfortable. Kitchen is open and has enough cooking and dining utensils for preparing a meal if desired. Location is awesome, steps to the beach and mere blocks to the restaurants and shops. The house itself is very appealing and spotlessly clean. Nice full size bathrooms too. Everyone in my party felt like we'd scored in finding this place. Pacific Grove itself is a very pretty town with a great vibe.

Concerns

This property was in a good location. I have a safety concern. There were NO screens in any of the windows which is a safety hazard with children. So you cannot open the windows and the AC did not work. I would not recommmend this property for anyone with young children

Ocean Getaway!

My family and I had a great stay at this location. Just us small stroll down the street to the beach access in Pacific Grove. When we arrived the property managers had maintenance working on the house, which was nice to see that the place was being up kept. Maintenance packed up quickly as we could pull in the driveway and into the garage to unload. The driveway is pretty small for a large size vehicle, but access to a two car garage was Nice to Park cars in. We did have a access issue, as our code for the front door didn’t work initially. I reached out to the property managers and they were able to fix it within 10 minutes. The property managers checked in with us periodically to make sure that our stay was adequate. Which was very nice. The house and all the amenities we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms were great. I will say that the ice machine in the freezer wasn’t working. Unknown if the ice machine was broken or I just didn’t know how to turn it on. The water was connected to the back of the refrigerator and turned on. there were ice trays so we could make ice. During our stay the toilet float stop working and the upstairs bathroom. I sent a text message to property management and they had somebody that day come in and fix it right away. When we came back from our outing at the beach everything was fixed and secured. I understand some things are out of our control but I give this property and the property managers five stars. My family had a great time at the house and with our stay in Pacific Grove. I look forward to returning in the future.

quaint and nice

We were a group of 6 friends in our 50's and we totally enjoyed the location and neighborhood of this home. It is quaint, clean, comfortable. The living room is spacious and the bonus is proximity to the ocean and recreational trail, as well as downtown. It was great for our short stay. *the 2 car garage is a little tight if you are driving large vehicles and the seagulls are very noisy at night and early morning, but other than that, a great place to relax for a few days

Clean, Comfortable and Convenient

Beds are comfy and the location is great. We did not cook, but the kitchen is set up for it. The beach is less than a block away, a 2-minute walk as advertised. Enjoyed walking along the beach path in both directions and to downtown Pacific Grove. 17-mile drive to Carmel is nearby, and Monterey is just a mile away. It was cold and we could not get the heat to work, but there are plenty of blankets to keep warm. The house smelled musty, like closed up beach houses often do, but it was very clean, comfortable, and convenient to local attractions.

Easy walk to Lover’s Point

This was a great home for our group of three couples and a newborn. We cooked and also were able to walk to restaurants or picnic areas nearby. The large garage and driveway provided needed parking and good storage options. We plan to return!

Family Get Away

The house was perfect for our family of three generations. House is well maintained and nicely furnished. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood quiet. Nice plus having a clean spacious garage to park our cars. The location is ideal just half a block to Lovers Point with it's wonderful cove beach and gentle waves. The walk along the coast is spectacular. The kitchen is well equipped. Linens were very clean. Towels and throws were plentiful.

Perfect location & a lovely, spacious home

This was a relaxing weekend getaway for my husband, daughter, son-in-law, baby & me. It takes two minutes to walk to the beach path that is great for strolling and offers spectacular views. In this house in a quiet, safe neighborhood, the bedrooms, living room and dining area are quite comfortable and the kitchen well-supplied for cooking meals. We know Pacific Grove and knew what we wanted. We felt lucky to be able to stay here.

First VRBO to exceed expectations

I have stayed in a few different VRBO and AirB&B properties and have always felt grossed out and disappointed - wishing I would have just stayed in a hotel. Not this time around, though! This is the first property that I felt comfortable due to the level of cleanliness. Although the property is a little dated, it was quaint and charming. You cannot beat the location of this property. I'd absolutely love to stay here again the next time I'm out here with my family. Thank you for the wonderful stay and giving us the opportunity to experience life in Pacific Grove for the last week.

Pacific Grove Amazing Getaway

This house is wonderful and the location is amazing ..... steps to the bay and scenic walk / bike path. Management are very accommodating and respond quickly. The house is outstanding with upstairs and downstairs accommodations so large groups have lots of space. Wonderful atmosphere in the house with terrific furnishings - and a large wooden dining table that is gorgeous! I have rented this house for a work / writing get-away as well as for relaxation and recreation in the wonderful Monterey Bay area. I plan to return frequently as it is one of the best rentals I have experienced!! Highly, highly recommend this property! M

Excelent location and decor of the house. Living it, there are detail that need to be addressesd.

Loved to come into the house, walking so close to the beach and the prompt response of the manager until check in. Once in, we noticed there were no dish towels, a sponge to wash pots and pans, a broom to broom the kitchen floor, the coffee pot didn’t had the jar to percolate the coffee, the night light on the bedroom needed an extension cord because it didn’t reach the plug. These requests were made to the manager, promised but not fulfilled. The shutter on one of the bedrooms does not have control so the sun light went right into your face as soon as morning started. I noticed the problem with the shutters has been mentioned on several reviews, so is time to look into. New toilets are not to expensive, water efficient and good flush recommended for the bathroom downstairs. All these amenities will make more enjoyable the stay on this really nice home. Plenty of good quality pots, pans, beach towels, were a nice touch. Thank you.
