Top of the Prom cottage offers Wilsons Promontory Accommodation and is the closest accommodation to Wilsons Promontory National Park. It is a 20 Acre property called Prom View Farm in a peaceful and private setting with horses and cattle to be admired, 500 meters from the entrance to the Prom.

The views and sunrises from the cottage look over Corner Inlet and are breathtaking!

The cottage is a fully self-contained modern 2 bedroom cottage for relaxing holidays.

The cottage at Prom View farm contains a queen size bed in the main bedroom and queen size and bunk beds in the second bedroom. Sleeps up to 6 people, doonas/cover and pillows/pillow cases are suppled. BYO linen and towels or hire available for $10 per sheet & $3 per towel

An absolute delight

The property was in a beautiful location with stunning views. It was spacious and well equipped - beds were v comfy. We only stayed 2 nights but wished we could have stayed longer.

Great family friendly stay

Perfect location for a family to explore the Prom. Bbq & washing machine (with washing powder!) were an unexpected bonus, loved being fully independent with fully functioning kitchen :)Kids also loved feeding the horses each day! We will definitely be back :)

Beautiful cottage

This property is a hidden gem just minutes away from the prom … it was a memorable experience spending the Aus Day weekend there with family. My daughter loved seeing farm animals especially horses …. The view was just great!! Highly recommend …

Stunning location at Yanakie

The location is stunning. The cabin could do with some more basic items like tea,sugar, soap in the showers etc.The shower room and plastic plants are a little dated and tired. Lovely owner and spot. Still worth the stay.

3 Little Maids From School

We were 3 girls who went to school together over 50 years ago catching up on old memories and making new ones. We had a terrific stay at Top of the Prom. The cottage is lovely and there is so much to do in the area. A ‘must do’ is the Prom cruise in the amphibious boat - absolutely brilliant. Diane is a great host and offers a home-away-from-home base for Prom activities. Book - you won’t be disappointed.

Cosy and a great location

A fantastic location right on the entrance to the Prom. Has all the facilities for a comfortable stay. Lovely views across the farm and a great place to unwind after a day exploring the Prom.

Cozy stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage it had a very nice view of the farm lots of cutlaries and amenities in the kitchen the bed and everything else were all comfortable. The place is just at the footsteps of the Wilson Promontory entrance, 30 mins drive to Tidal River. My daughter loved the animals they come out every morning for feeding. The host was also very supportive and very nice. There is however no Wifi, which was a slight disappointment.

Home just outside the park

Great self contained farmstay with separate bedrooms so snorers don’t need to disturb anyone. Sunrises were amazing. 30 minute drive into Tidal River but no park entry fees.

Very comfortable cottage

The cottage had everything I needed. The kitchen was well appointed, the bed was comfortable and the views were absolutely brautiful. Perfect for a short or long stay! So close to the Prom and all its attractions.

Great accommodation in an excellent location

We had a fantastic stay. The accommodation catered for everything we needed to enjoy our time away. It's conveniently located right at the Prom's entrance. It's so close, after dinner we walked to and explored Big Drift (which I highly recommend doing!)

great stay

We were a family of 6 and the cottage was perfect. The surroundings are beautiful, great views. The cottage is well set up, comfortable, very clean and it is perfect for visiting Wilson Prom and the area. We love our stay and we will get back when we visit the area again. Please, note you will need to bring your own linen and towels, which was the only drawback, the host can provide them but at an additional cost.

A hidden gem on the doorstep of the Prom

This place is an absolute treasure. With sweeping views of farmland and the corner inlet on the horizon, it is a beautiful and quiet little house. It is only a few hundred meters away from the entry to the prom which makes for easy drives to tidal beach and the various stops along the way. At night, the sky is so full of stars that you can see the milky way - which is such a treat when you’re used to living in the suburbs of Melbourne. The house was lovely and clean, the beds were comfy, the kitchen well equipped. My family would love to return at the next opportunity we get- thank you Diane and Len for the wonderful stay.

The location is convenient and just a few hundred meters from the park entry. IF weather permits and in right season, you will have a nice view of sun rise. Everything is as described. recommended.

Gorgeous Cottage Right Outside The Prom

Friends and I enjoyed a brilliant long weekend at Top Of The Prom. The two bedroom cottage was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing time away including comfortable beds, great water pressure and absolutely stunning views from the deck! The property is right by the entry to the national park so it’s super convenient as a base to explore Wilson Prom. Diane is a wonderful host and made all aspects of our stay easy. They were kind enough to accomodate a last minute change and all communication was easy and prompt and check in/out simple. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway and we’re already planning our next visit.
