Nice but horrible communication. I won’t be back.
This was a lovely place according to my friend who stayed in my stead.
But I could not contact the host through the app at all. And when I finally did there were 2 hosts. A company called evolve and the host Jennifer.
Issues:
1) poor communication. I contacted the host on the 13th wishing to cancel my stay because my brother passed away. They did not get back to me. So I passed the room off to a friend and added them as a guest through the app as per app requirements as not to waste my $540.
2) Evovle. Evolve only got in contact with me on the 18th. 2 days before my stay. I had waited 5 days for a reply. By then I had already offered the room to my friend. They did not contact me through the App.
3) Evolve did not notify Jennifer (the on location host) of the my situation and that I still had a friend coming. I had told Jennifer my situation through the app. She was unable to read it.
4) Host Jennifer and Evolve would not contact me through the app. The provided number to contact the host was a 1-800 number. Not the on location host, Jennifer, Who was friendly.
5) Room was not ready. I had told both the host and evolve on the 15th and 18th, 2 days before my trip that a friend who I added as a guest was coming to stay. When they arrived the room wasn’t ready because they had thought no one was coming, despite me making both Evolve and Jennifer aware.
When booking this place be aware that you will not be able to contact the on location host. It’s nice but confusing. :(
