Mt Fernie Guesthouse - New 2BR Modern Mountain Suite
Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space nestled in woodland up on the mountainside. Despite the rural location, downtown Fernie is easily accessible by car in less than 5 minutes, and the ski hill is just a 10 minute drive away. There are plenty of head trails in the area for you to explore, or take some time out and visit the local spas, boutiques, and restaurants. Our brand new, two bedroom guesthouse has all the modern conveniences you need to enjoy your stay in the mountains.
GENERAL
This brand new two bedroom suite is located above our detached garage so you will have the ultimate in privacy. You will have access to the entire suite during your stay.
ACCESS
The entrance to the driveway is adjacent to a red fire hydrant so look for this as you travel up or down Burma Road. If you are coming up the hill from Parkland Terrace, the property will be on your right, and if you are coming down the hill it will be on your left. As you turn into the driveway, you will see the garage suite on your right. Please park in front of this building, there is plenty of space for two vehicles. There is a path to the side of the parking area that leads up to the covered entrance by the deck.
ENTRANCE
There are four steps up to the covered deck area. There is a smart lock to which you will be sent the code 24 hours prior to check in. As you enter the property you step immediately into the hallway with a large closet on your left and a large mudroom immediately in front of you. This is an ideal space for all your sporting accessories and clothing. We kindly request that any sporting equipment (skis, snowboard, bikes, etc.) be stored in the lockable shed to the left of the garage suite.
MAIN LIVING AREA
The first thing that you will notice as you walk into the main living area is the amount of light in the suite. With the tranquil decor, comfortable furnishings, and wonderful woodland views, you'll feel relaxed in no time. The main area has a comfortable sofa and chair, 50" smart TV, dining table and chairs, and a full kitchen. The kitchen comes well equipped with all the utensils, pots, pans, and dishes that you may need during your stay. There is also salt, pepper, basic spices, and cooking oil supplied for your use.
BEDROOMS
Immediately off the main living space are two bedrooms, each with large closets with plenty of storage space. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other has two twin beds. All beds have hotel quality linens and new memory foam mattresses.
BATHROOM & LAUNDRY
The laundry closet has a full size washer and dryer for your use. Next to the laundry closet is the 3 piece bathroom with heated floors and shower over tub combination.
ADDITIONAL INFO
Given the rural location and the wildlife corridor, you will need to be wildlife aware. Please see our guest guide for more information on how to stay safe. During winter months, we highly recommend a 4WD vehicle to access our property.
