Air Conditioning: Yes, equipped with central air

Animals: We do have preventative things at the property to keep the geese off of the lawn and dock. However, sometimes this is completely out of anyone's control. There is not a 100% way that we can prevent the geese from coming onto the property. We do provide several deterrents such as coyote statues and reflective pinwheels.

Bathrooms: Full bathroom- Shower/Tub combo, 2 sinks, and a toilet
Half Bathroom- Sink, toilet

Beach/Swimming: Not a traditional beach but swimming from dock. There are 2 ladders for entry.

Bedroom Configurations: Master Bedroom- King size bed
Bedroom #2- Queen size bed
Bedroom #3- Queen size bed

Boats: 2 Paddle boards and a single person Kayak are available for use from Memorial Day to Labor Day.


Boat Launch: Oakland County Boat Launch- 2.9 miles (9 min) $30 launch fee, after you launch you can tie off at the dock during your stay.

Cable: No traditional cable

Coffee Maker: Keurig-single cup. K-cups, and sugar are provided

Dock: Yes. Large dock with sitting area and 2 ladders for easy access into water.

Drinking Water: City water

Drugs/Smoking/Fireworks: Freshwater does not permit illegal drugs of any kind on the property. Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.

Fireplace: There is not a fireplace

Fire-pit: Yes

Fishing: Yes, Pan, Sun, Bluegill, Rock Bass, Large and Smallmouth Bass, and the occasional Walleye can all be found in Sylvan Lake

Fishing License: A license is required in order to fish in Michigan.

Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillowcases, and bath towels.

Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.
