Kozzie on Suttons - 300m to beach
Kozzie on Suttons is a neat and cozy holiday house, just one block away from Suttons beach and Margate beach. The house is filled with warm tones, for a homely and inviting atmosphere, and all the essentials to be a home away from home.
The location is central to Redcliffe’s popular attractions: Settlement Cove lagoon, Bee Gees Way, Redcliffe Jetty & Sunday Markets and many more.
Enjoy kms of beach walk, watch the sunrise, sample the many waterfront cafes and restaurants and have a great time!
This is a typical Queensland high set house, with the living areas on the upper level, being accessed via the front staircase. There are fully fenced front and back yards with northerly breezes all year round. You will not be sharing with anyone during your stay.
There is a lounge room with smart TV, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, open dining area, three bedrooms and two bathrooms plus two separate toilets. The staircase at the back leads to the large private backyard and laundry room.
Air conditioning (heating and cooling) is available in the main living space and two of all bedrooms. All bedrooms have ceiling fans. Most of the time the house has nice sea-breeze and plenty of sunlight.
Security cameras are installed at the driveway and front deck, pointing at the driveway/gate for security reasons. There are no cameras inside the house.
There is off street parking space for one car. More parking is available on street (wide quiet local street), directly in front of the house.
The local neighbourhood is quaint and quiet with mostly local residents. You will enjoy a cozy and tranquil family friendly neighbourhood, so conveniently tucked away from the busy tourist town centre.
Many nearby amenities/activities are within walking distance from the house. Both Suttons beach and Margate beach are less than 5 minutes walk. There are public covered barbecues and toilet/shower facilities along the beach. The Redcliffe Parade main cafe strip, Settlement Cove lagoon, Bee Gees way and Redcliffe pier are just over 1km (15’ walk) away. Make sure you check out the Redcliffe Sunday Market which runs every Sunday from 8am to 2pm. Supermarkets & shops are within walking distance. During busy hours/weekends, parking in the town centre may be tricky, therefore you might choose to leisurely explore this area on foot.
Alternatively, a short drive will take you to the beautiful Newport/Scarborough marina, beaches and Morgans, a popular local seafood place. Clontarf's Pelican Park has pelican feeding every morning at 10am, 365 days year round. A little further (approx 15’ drive) you will find Northlake, a major shopping hub with Westfield, Ikea and Cotsco.
