Located directly on the white sand of beautiful Pensacola Beach, this two-bedroom, two-bath, 12th floor unit has fantastic Gulf views.

Upon entering the unit, you will see the laundry room with a washer and dryer for your convenience. The kitchen is open to the dining and living areas and is equipped with major appliances and plenty of counter space. Enjoy family meals at the dining table that seats four. The living room has large windows with amazing Gulf views. There is plenty of comfortable seating, including two small sleeper sofas.

Relax and enjoy the view or dine outdoors on the private balcony overlooking the swimming pools and Gulf of Mexico. The Gulf front master bedroom has a king bed, private bath, fabulous views and balcony access. The master bath features a large garden tub and shower. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and shares the hall bath with the living area. This 1,100 square foot condo sleeps six people.

On site amenities include two swimming pools, hot tub, sauna and fitness center. Shopping, dining and night life is just a short walk from this centrally located condo, making it an ideal location for a beach vacation.

Could Use Some Improvements

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Emerald Isle numerous time over the years. I must say that this unit was a little tired and could use a few things. Some of the previous reviewers were correct on a few things.1) 3 of the knobs on the stove did not have markers on them. If we tried to use the one knob as a guide, it did not work. When we thought the burner was on low, it was on a higher setting.2) Blackout curtains would be nice in the front bedroom, as the outdoor light shines in, even with the blinds closed upwards, making the room pretty bright at night. We had to use towels over the windows to darken the room. 3) There was still quite a bit of sand on the floor when we arrived. The unit could use a new broom and dust pan as they did not pick up the sand very well. Also, there was a LOAD of sand on the balcony that tracked into the condo every time we came in. We had to sweep it twice just to enjoy the balcony. The rug at the back door was pretty nasty and full of sand as well. 4) The table on the balcony was very small and the chairs were not very comfortable for sitting out and eating or watching the waves.5) For the $4000 we paid for a week, providing at least one umbrella and pair of chairs would have been nice.6) One of the 2 elevators was broken the entire week. We kept being told it would be getting fixed that day but finally did the evening before we were leaving. It made it difficult and rather stiflingly warm when there was a huge crowd in the lobby waiting. The couple that we were with walked 12 flights to our condo when a rain storm came through and the lobby was full.7) The condo had a musty smell from the humidity. A dehumidifier might help. Overall, the condo was just ok, but the little things make such a nice difference, especially when other condos in Emerald Isle have provided these little extra touches.We probably would not stay at this condo again, unless we see reviews that these things have been improv

Reviewer Comments: My wife and I have been traveling to Pensacola Beach and renting from Paradise Beach Homes for 43 years. The check in time has been moved back over the years and is now so late that it creates issues for families with small children waiting for 3 -4 hours for check in. Check in time has moved for 2pm to 5 pm over the years.Additionally the late check in creates a large issue with all renters checking into Emerald Isle at the same time with only 4 luggage carts available so it requires many trips on the elevators since the carts are all in use or more wait tie to obtain the use of a luggage cart.

Reviewer Comments: We had a nice stay but there are things things that really need addressed; The front bedroom right inside the entry really needs Curtains. The blinds DO NOT keep out the light from the hall-bright as day in there. The electric stove KNOBS are blank, makes it hard to gauge the heat. The balcony table top tiles wobble. The washers 'fabric-softener' area REALLY needs cleaned out, it's full of old thick residue. Bring softener sheets instead! The master bed REALLY needs new sheets, pretty scratchy. For all you Shell lovers, you might want to find a different beach. Part of our love for the ocean/beach is to find shells but at this beach the hunt consists of fighting the breaking waves and rarely finding a real keeper, wish we would have known that. Overall, the place itself was nice, had pretty much all you need for a stay-away. Nice area, walking distance from shops and eating out. There's a bridge fee each time you come across- we haven't got our bill yet so unsure how much it was but we think it was $3 each time. All these items I listed above our easy fixes. I'd inquire before you book!

The view from the balcony was phenomenal. The outdoor furniture on the balcony needs to be replaced. It’s worn and uncomfortable. There are plenty of kitchenware to stay in for dinner, but the ability to walk to everything is what makes this location so great. There was plenty of parking and the secure entry and exit sets you at ease.

Beds and linens were very comfortable. Tons of pillows of various thickness . In addition to sofa bed, there is a self inflating full mattress. There is a tub of beach toys and a couple of umbrellas. . I do recommend bringing a couple of dish towels . The unit is beautifully decorated with tons of fun touches. Very nice glassware and dishes. We went to Joe Pattie’s for seafood and We cooked every night. We had what we needed to do so. You will enjoy your stay. Paradise is a good company and Emerald Isle a good location and the u it is lovely.

I loved the property getting into it was another story
Entry into Emerald Isle at the front gate iwas very difficult. keypad is not user-friendly, during my one week stay I probably assisted a dozen guests who were unable to figure out or operate the entry keypad. I must say I struggled with it myself till I finally figured it out. lucky for them I just happen to be coming in or out at the time. The response I got from everyone after I let them in was “we couldn’t figure this thing out” I would suggest that the property update this not to mention that the gate was broken three days out of the eight I was there. Also the entry keypad into the pool area from the beach didn’t work half of the time. I noticed after a few days of hearing everyone complain about it, someone just disabled the lock which made me happy. Overall I thought the property was in good shape clean and well maintained, and the condo that I stayed in had a beautiful view from the 12th floor

Needs Maintenance

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The building and location were great and we have stayed here before. This specific unit needs some maintenance badly though. First thing I noticed was the showers had a lot of mold in the grout. A little bleach goes a long way. Also, if you planned on running water in more than one faucet/appliance/shower you will be sorely disappointed. The pressure is nearly non existent and made TERRIBLE noises if you tried to run two things at once. Which means two people taking showers at once was impossible. Doing laundry and the dishes at the same time was a no-go. Then, the fabric softener dispenser just clogged completely and wouldn't empty. Also, I was highly unimpressed by the cleaning job. I found crackers behind curtains, a thick layer of sand was on the flooring (I expect some as it's the beach, but this was more than that, and some of the dishes had crusted on food. Overall, it's not the normal experience that I am used to with Paradise. Obviously I could have complained while there, but I'm not much on that, but I figured I'd let you guys know through here when I got the email asking for a review.

All about location
You can't beat the location of this condo. And to us, that's what we were paying for; on the beach access. We found the unit to be a tad dated. The door to this condo is in need of serious updating, that should include digital entry. To check in we had to go to the office across the street to get the key. Then you had to keep up with the key as it was the only way to get in the condo. And once you locked the door with the key, it still didn't feel like it was safely locked. The door knob part of the door doesn't work at all. So once you are in, you have to immediately deadbolt the door otherwise it's wide open. Just started the entire experience with the unit off on the wrong foot. You know what they say about first impressions? There was some hair in the master bath sink which didn't make us feel great about it being cleaned in detail. Other than that, it was in ok condition as far as cleanliness. Like I said, this condo is in a great location. And we would probably consider it again as a last minute thing. We could only hope that at some point the door and interior gets a little love.
